We went to the Crown for the first time last night. We booked a table for 8pm and had a drink in the bar before we sat down. Staff all really friendly and really nice atmosphere. There wasn't any starters but when you saw the size of the mains we were glad we didn't have any!! My kids that the fish and chips, I had the steak pie and my wife had the fish pie. The food was amazing 10/10!! We are definitely coming again!!

Great home cooked food large portion. Nice atmosphere. Gets very busy and you can't book a table but don't let this put you off just turn up as the doors open..
One down side is the car park is very tight so pick your space well. Overall fantastic place been time and time again.
Not been for a while but this review remains the same great food as always and you can now book a table (but be quick!!!)

The food here is absolutely fantastic, no particular frills but absolutely fantastic flavour, I had the Thai style monk fish skewers and my lady had the fish pie, both incredibly tasty and the portion sizes were plenty, very filling.
The atmosphere is very friendly, welcoming and cosy, nothing is too much trouble. It's not a cheap place but it's not overly expensive either with the exception of maybe the wine and beer, you certainly feel like you have spent your money well on a top tier meal and evening out. I had been here before on a date nearly 10 years ago and its as good now as it was then.

I visited the crown and I will be back again soon, there was much variety on the menu, and the food was very good, quick service, I was served by the waitress alesea, she was very polite and attentive, I would recommend to anyone for a nice meal and drinks.

Not been for a while as we have been tiuring Europe. It was jyst as good as the last time. I cannot fault this place. The staff are all so friendly. The atmosphere is great, very relaxed. Above all the food is 2nd to none. All our meals were hot, tasty & plentiful. Well done.

Great homemade food at reasonable prices. Would probably get away with reducing the portion sizes as they were huge! Service was fast and it was absolutely packed! Sign of a great place to go!
