Visited for dinner on the Monday evening of a bank holiday weekend. Still a good crowd after the place was packed at lunchtime.
Staff very friendly, meals excellent, reasonably priced and served promptly. A very good experience overall.

Came with a friend for a meal and the starter arrived looking like it had been in the fridge for days, no effort with presentation and tasted awful. Both of our main meals got sent back as one was partly undercooked and the other main tasted horrible not sure if was off. Service and attitude was dreadful and even the female chef came out and gave us daggers just because we moaned, sorry we had every right too and we most certainly did not deserve the daggers - this was so unprofessional!!!
Sort your chef out and get someone who can cook beautiful food and present it well like how this place used to be years ago when we used to come here lots. We wont be coming back until things improve.

Lola was absolutely lovely great service. The Ribeye steak was cooked rare and was absolutely perfect there is a good range of drink personally lime and lemon was a great non alcoholic drink the atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy overall a great place to have a meal.

After visiting here earlier this week with great service I returned the following evening with two friends to eat. Was given a very warm welcome by Karen who was so helpful as it was a busy evening with quiz. We sat outside and I was told they don?t run a tab for outside tables. So I ordered 3 drinks and there was a problem with the card machine so we tried again and it worked but as I had lost my glasses I assumed all was ok. I then came back to order the food which went ok on card machine. Food was swift in arriving and was good. In the morning I noticed on my bank account that the 3 drinks were charged at £27.45. So I dropped back at 09.30 the next morning and spoke to the lovely Angela who did some checking and I seemed the card machine had added £10.00 cash back. Angela was so helpful in sorting this. It will always be a pleasure to return here. Séamus

Had another amazing time at The Wolseley. Roya and the team have worked hard to turn this pub around and it's nice to see that work pay off!
