Dropped into store while out walking. Good selection of groceries, well spaced out.

A showcase of supermarket experiences. Excellent food range. Awesome staff and a blinding little cafe.

I don't mind paying higher prices for unusual or unique products but you are taking the piss when you charge £1.90 for a packet of McVities Rich Tea biscuits!!

Awful ,dismal and very cold coffee shop. Unwelcoming at best. This Waitrose has been in a steady decline for several years . We no longer do a weekly shop here . Just use it as a corner shop now . Shame.

The store has had a long overdue facelift but has reduced the number of manned checkouts , big mistake as Booths have recently admitted and subsequently rectified . The cafe is thankfully much improved aesthetically after several years of being utterly drab . In fairness , there is now a much better choice BUT beware the portions . Ordered a soup , which was very tasty but it was only a third of a bowl full . My wife had a jacket potato which was as small as I?d seen served in an eaterie . With a bottle of water and a cappuccino, the bill came to £16.40 , hardly great value for money .

Awful new Waitrose shop. No hot chickens. Tiny fish counter. No continental meats, or rather a very small selection. Smaller cheese section. Deli section now reduced. Chicken section reduced. And now we have a dull Japanese suchi bar, which in Lichfield is a joke. I don't rush in to buy sushi, I used to rush in to buy a hot chicken! We now have homeware, dull. And a larger alcohol area. Why? We have Been robbed again by management who think more about money than customer service! Waitrose has become a miserable experience, with a reduced real people checkout and more AI. It feels less exclusive and more corporate. This is something that Waitrose shoppers didn't want. A horrible refurb, awful presentation, bad choices qnd not what we want.

What an absolute disappointment. This cafe used to be a lovely place to have a coffee and meet local friends. I admit it needed some freshening up, but whoever designed this needs to rethink. The area is similar to an everyday quick stop cafe in the high street. The prices are expensive but previously this was okay as such a relaxing place. The design is not welcoming at all, dark and dismal. Coffee now served in mugs not cups and saucers, meaning coffee stains on tables. No where to put spoons, empty sugar packs, a disgrace for the Waitrose image. I will be going over to the pub opposite if I want a coffee. Coffee was cool too. On a plus side the staff are lovely. So very disappointing, this was a place for a treat. No newspapers provided now either.

Wonderful food, friendly helpful staff. Relaxed shopping at its best.

Pretty awful shop with poor choice of basic groceries, probably even worse since being refurbished. Salad & veg is usually not bad but fresh fruit in my experience is universally horrible - invariably tasteless and doesn?t last except for bananas, which are usually green

Fantastic store full of delicious things! They even do own brand things which I have to say are amazing and obviously the price is also good if on a budget particularly there cheese yum. Well worth a shop here Yes there is a coffee shop here as well! Which has just had a massive refurbishment and it is well worth a visit for a snack and a coffee. They have a good choice of teas as well!Recommendation from me!

New roof, modified layout with new display shelving, seemingly narrower aisles and more products on sale. Also some new ranges including additional household items are welcome.Product quality does not seem to have suffered as a result of the changes and there are some good offers still to be had.The down side is that the welcoming open space feeling with wide aisles and plenty of room to move about has disappeared. At busy times the narrow aisles with taller shelving make the store feel cramped. There appears to be customer resistance to the self service tills with many queues forming at the staffed tills. Technical problems (mainly scanner failures) with the self service tills keep support staff busy and could be one of the reasons for customer resistance.Overall a mixed bag with the changes. Some for the better, but the jury is still out

Excellent selection of goods. This store has recently been ruined by the removal of many traditional checkouts and the addition of more self service checkouts. I chose a self service checkout as the two manned checkouts had queues. The self service checkout was terrible. I lost track of how many times I was promoted to wait for an assistant - it was painful. I would have been better off waiting in the queue. I definitely won?t use these self Service checkouts again.

Nothing special. I pop in now and a then on the way home from work for the odd few bits. Some decent priced stuff but some horrifically overpriced. Staff always seem very aloof.

Almost everything to offer! Huge range of items including some more difficult to find. Fresh counters including a sushi bar as well as every other weekly shop items. More expensive than most supermarkets but the quality is higher with more organic produce.
