Following an appalling experience at an unrelated well known provider, I chose to switch to Vodafone. I was dealt with in an exceptionally polite and courteous manner by Ellie at the Lichfield shop and my internet purchase sorted out in a highly efficient and knowledgeable manner. Thank you very much for a well explained, thoroughly researched and generally excellent transaction.

Very dishonest staff! Went into the store, hoping to switch my number to Vodafone after horrifically bad experiences with my current network provider. So I asked the dude for a pay as you go deal. Dude: "yes you just pay £10 every month and we need your name, date of birth, address, bank details and passport, and we do a credit check and an identity check".
I said "so it's a contract then".
Dude: "no, it's pay as you go but you sign up for it, we need your details (as above) and you pay £10 every month by direct debit".
SO IT'S A CONTRACT THEN!!!
It's the dishonesty I don't like!!! Just admit it - you only do contracts now, to collect people's data, sell them off, and have total control over people's lives on top of it!
And people wonder why they get scammed left right and center...

Attended to return phone as advised by customer services. Travelled 10 miles to store to be told can't do it in store. Called customer services to be told store can do returns and they shouldn't of said they can't. Just seemed like they couldn't be bothered.

Tremendously patient and helpful staff in store. Slightly clunky Vodafone systems to adhere to, but Emma in particular is outstanding in her customer service.

The manageress was extremely rude and told us to go to argos even though I was a very long standing customer for over 30years.she was very unhelpful and the poor assistant looked quite embarassed.she was not typical of the usual helpful Vodafone staff
