Lovely looking place tidy and clean inside when sat down given 5 mins to choose drink which was perfect then come to the food the staff were swearing alot to one another the chefs with it been quiet were just sitting on there phones whilst looking out at the tables another couple joined the same room as ours so the chefs moved but you could hear them playing there videos as volume was so loud wouldn't return had to wait ages for staff to even get the bill and turned down a pudding as waited 15 mins since she left us the menu. Got home and my clothes stunk of food not a place id recommend purely on service

An excellent restaurant with a higher price tag then I'm used to. Fantastic food, excellent service - would highly recommend it. We spent about £50 per head, including drinks. Not unreasonably priced, but adds up quick if having 3 courses. The food was phenomenal and staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.

Fantastic venue. With a lovely outside seating area. Great food and menu all reasonably priced. Service from waiters was first class. The venue was warm and welcoming. Drinks a little pricey. Plenty of parking

Enjoyable starters calamari and soup with croutons. Roast turkey was cooked to perfection and so was the Mexican dish. Really good service and so lovely to sit outside. My complimentary dessert to celebrate my birthday tomorrow was a lovely touch, thank you ?.

We at Sunday lunch at The Plough. The roast beef was absolutely gorgeous and it came with all of the extras. The vegetables were delicious and plentiful. The pudding was also delicious, I had the salted caramel and chocolate tart. The service was good and the girls were very pleasant.
My only gripe would be we weren't given a fork to eat our sweet with and the plate given to me was very small, it was difficult to eat given the size of the plate. Also no finesse re the presentation of the puddings. No icing sugar or a sprig of mint, nothing. My friend had the icecream and it was served in a white pudding bowl.
That said we would return as the main was delicious.

First time here, personally I didn't like the modern look, it lacked the country pub charm for me. The server was quick to ensure we had drinks. Felt a little rushed. She even asked if we were finished with the starters even though there were 3 chickens still on the plate. Starters were a little uninspiring, especially the fried chicken and at £9 I would have thought it came with a little more flare. Scotch egg reported to be tasty. Calamari was nice. Mains. The lamb was a bit dry and the roasties a little over cooked. Pork belly again reported dry. The veg was fresh n hot, nice variety. Paid extra for mash (I thought that was salty) and 2 cauliflower cheese. The food here is expensive and we agreed it wasn't worth it. Sorry.

The food was absolutely delicious, we came for my partners parents birthdays/retirement dinner.
I had the crab arancini and was absolutely blown away, I can confidently say it was the best arancini I?ve ever had. The filet steak was superb, as a chef myself, it was cooked to perfection.
Sadly I only snapped two photos of the food I had however, the pizzas are incredibly big and fresh!
No complaints from the nine of us dined together.
The liquor ?safe? has an exquisite range and honestly wish I lived locally as I?d visit weekly!

Visited 11th December, Staff were very welcoming, service was great and the food was amazing, compliments to the chef. I would highly recommend. 5 stars from me.

Food was okay enough, however the issue I found was that my son has an allergy to dairy - and there was only one vegan/dairy free dessert on the menu (that's what we were told) and they didn't even have it in.
So it doesn't seem that the menu is very inclusive at the moment for vegans and allergy sufferers.

Lunch menu is great value for money. All food is always thoughtfully prepared, service is generally very good and it is a lovely, well kept pub we visit on a regular basis. Beer garden (full menu served) is all- weather covered. You should try it if you haven't.
