It is long overdue that I write this review. The Heart of the Country is simply a potpourri of fun things to do for folks of all ages. In terms of value - unless you decide to buy a meal, drinks or goods from the various stores and restaurants it is free! Even the parking is free. Everyone seems to be friendly and welcoming. There are walks too, especially nice for the kids. And yes all the eating and drinking places are good to excellent!

Had a fab working lunch at the Barn today, staff were really lovely, food was excellent and great value, plus you can park for free. Highly recommend. To be sure of a table book in advance.

Me and my wife dropped in for a fry up, we had the light breakfast £12 each and a pot of tea between us. The staff were just lovely and very attentive, they made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was beautiful, especially the sausage (think it was from packington) probably one of the best I've had. We will endeavour to visit again. The decor inside was splendid, you could spend the whole day there.

My wife and I had afternoon tea at The Barn on Tuesday 25/2/25 and I must say from the moment we walked through the door, the staff and the service they supplied was second to none.
Very friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
The afternoon tea served was delicious and varied, first class.

Had my 25th birthday afternoon tea here with a large group, with a variety of dietary needs. Both Claire and Nigel catered for everybody accordingly and the food was amazing. The venue is also beautiful and in a nice area with small shops and a fairy trail walk nearby. Already planning our next visit!

Had my baby shower here on the weekend and it was perfect!!! They managed to fit me in last minute as my original venue cancelled on me. All my friends and family commented on how beautiful the barn is and how fantastic the food was! Nigel, Claire & the other staff members are so attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them! They really made my day extra special.
Service, food & setting is exceptional, I will definitely be back again and I know so many of my family & friends will too!

Had a gift voucher for afternoon for myself & my daughter. We had an email for sandwich filling preferences a few days before. On the day the staff welcomed us & produced a huge pot of tea & then a lovely selection of sandwiches & cakes. It was all very tasty & we both enjoyed it, thank you.
