Popped into store today as I found out that tesco mobile had dobr a a hard credit search on my credit file . Tha manager named Matthew was the person i spoke to today. As a manager I would have expected Matthew to be more diligent and want to improve customer satisfaction. But instead all he said to me was that because he was not present when I was in the store then there's nothing he can do about it I do feel thst to be a poor excuse. He should have had the decency to take my details and look I to the situation. But instead he was unwilling to help quoting from a manual. Its a pity as the staff at the lichfield store are really great. But it seems to be let down by this manager who's main concern is to show up pick up a pay check and do as little as possible. There was no customer care from himself at all. I tried explaining the situation to him but felt as though he really was not interested in the problem. I explained that it's not legal to do 2 hard searches on my credit report for a product I have not fully applied for. I was not turned down and I was not offered. His reply was well we can do a hard search at any time...which I believe is In correct unless an application has been forwarded and I have agreed to be credit searched as part of the process. Again Matthew the manager believes thst what he says is correct and does not fully understand the situation but Instead of investigating he just comes out with ......... well I'm sure you all know what follows. Therefore in my opinion goto any other staff member for help but I would not recommend going tobthe manager Matthew for help. Sometimes it's strange to see how a person becomes a manager with no customer care skills. But like I say this is in my own opinion. I have contacted tesco mobile head office to raise a formal complaint abut this manager. I have also a copy of the transcripts from y chat with tesco mobile from earlier thar I will print and send in to them too. I was asked to give this store a review as I visited it recently. This is my experience of what happened today with this manager. What happened before or after this incident is no qualm of mine. I'm only interested in how I was treated as a customer on my visit.

Today I changed my phone,,,Denise sorted everything out for me,,,transferred everything over from my old phone,,,I am very impressed with the service I received today and would recommend anyone to go to Tesco Lichfield

Quite frustrating that without the mobile number you can't deal with them or sort anything out. However once I explained my situation the shop attendant phoned up and everything was sorted
