Hi all. I just wanted to extend my most sincere gratitude to Pets at Home staff Molly and Dave at the Lichfield store for their support and kindness in helping me set up the pets at home app and also helping get the various quite heavy food products bought for the cat and dog out to the car on the afternoon of 19 July this year. They both were incredibly helpful and kind in spending several minutes helping me with this when i was struggling with it. Pets at home in Lichfield are great! Staff are very welcoming and always make a fuss of my dog. They always ask first and ask if they can give him a treat and stroke him. I really appreciate this from all staff.

Today I visited the Lichfield store and had a brilliant experience. All staff were incredibly kind to me and very helpful. Evie helped me to set up a new account on my pets at home app and showed me how to use my vouchers :)

Popped in on spec to see if we could get our little Border Terrier?s nails clipped. Even though he?s registered at the Burton on Trent store we were told we had to register him at Lichfield store. Ok, so we went through the process, because he needed a trim.
Had to wait 20 minutes, which was ok, we had time to fill as our other two dogs were being fully groomed elsewhere.
The trim took all of 5 minutes, so imagine my horror when I was told it was £27 pounds!! £27 pounds for a nail trim for a very little dog!!!
I was absolutely horrified! But obviously we had to pay. Why did they not mention that when we were forced to register my dog for a nail trim. It?s £10 in Burton.
Seriously not impressed at all!!
Since then I?ve been inundated with emails telling me I need to register my dog due to his new microchip.
He only had his nails clipped !
When we picked our other two dogs up from the groomers I asked them how much they would have charged to get the little guy?s nails done. £12. And that?s a professional grooming service!!
Very unhappy. Not good at all.

I had a really positive experience today at Pets at Home Lichfield. I went in to buy some tropical fish and was helped by a staff member who had a professional appearance but also showed subtle signs of support for inclusivity and diversity. It made the environment feel warm, welcoming, and very much at ease.
Their knowledge about the fish I was interested in was excellent, and they shared some genuinely helpful advice that I appreciated. As someone with ADHD and autism, shopping can sometimes feel overwhelming, but today?s experience felt calm, supportive, and without any pressure.
I left feeling pleased, comfortable, and excited to return in the future for more tropical fish. A genuinely great visit.

Would not recommend this place for guinnie pigs as I have been waiting for multiple days even weeks as they have been doing vet checks for apparently 9 days and that physically can't be possibly and told me a false date that was now 2 days ago that they will be ready now telling me after nine days could still be multiple weeks will not be buying from here and will be going elsewhere as I do not trust this place

Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. I discussed all things aquatics with one of the staff recently. I came away not only more informed, buy confident in where I would purchase fish from, once my new tank had cycled.

Fantastic customer service from Evie yesterday! We purchased 2 guinea pigs, and Evie was very helpful and knowledgeable. Evie took the time to explain what she was looking for and why as she checked our babies over ready for us to bring them home, and made sure we had no questions ourselves before leaving.

Great laid out store,brilliant disabled access. A lift to the upstairs area where the cat food and collars and toys are. There are stairs as well. Friendly staff who are really helpful too. Great parking as well.
