This is the third time that I have used the services of Lichfield Computer Centre and they didn't disappoint again. I was having trouble with a 'slow and uncooperative' iMac which I had bought new in 2020. Nick, from the shop, had previously had this iMac in when it wouldn't load the then latest OS system, Ventura, which he soon sorted out. I remember him saying he was surprised that this model still had a HDD fitted instead of the much better SSD. This time when I explained the problem Nick said that a SSD was the 'silver bullet' that would solve the problem. He was right - I took the iMac in on a Tuesday and it was ready for collection the following Thursday. All sorted and ready to go. The upgrade involved 'splitting' the screen to get to the inner workings, which was quite a tricky job as I had discovered after watching a You Tube video of the task. I would certainly recommend Lichfield Computer Centre. They are very professional and do an excellent job at a very reasonable price.

Had a problem with my windows upgrading to 11. I called and explained the situation and they were more than happy to help. I brought it down to the shop and they fixed it same day!! Fantastic service highly recommend

I had problems for days with Outlook passwords etc on my HP Refurb PC which I bought from LCC in 2019. Took it in at 9.30am today saw Nick who called me 11.20am today "fixed" come and get it. It works 100% OK now. Frankly exceptional service Many Thanks 100% recommendation

As per your reply , my "expectations" were minimal and not hard to meet. All I required was a quick diagnosis so I could move forward.
I took my PC in on Wednesday and I was told , all that was needed was a windows reinstall which would take 24hrs. I returned on Thursday (after hearing nothing from you and no answer when calling the shop) only to be told that it had not yet been done.
I was then told to come back on Friday. Later that day I received a phone call informing me that my PC was dead (after someone had eventually looked at it) and that it would need replacing. I was already concerned that a windows reinstall had turned into a PC replacement, but regardless I agreed with you that I would purchase one of your refurb units.
I was told that the refurb PC was ready on Friday. I spoke to you and told you that I was ON MY WAY to collect it and yet you STILL went home early and had me arrive at an empty shop. No reason or apology was given , only a half arsed "i had to shoot off".
With all of these concerns I decided to look for a replacement myself as I needed to get something up and running asap. I tried to inform you at the shop but again received no answer when calling.
On the collection of my original PC, I was given a bill for £144 !! The explanation being that "a lot of time has been spent on it". How ? When ? I dropped the PC off and it took you over 24hrs to even think about looking at it. All that was needed was to copy and paste some files and rehouse a hard drive. That does not warrant a £144 bill ! Any additional charges on top of the diagnosis costs should have been covered by yourselves especially after messing me around for over a week.
At the end of the day, the extra work to return my pc to how i left it with you , and to "restock the refurb" would not have been required had you only been at the shop during its stated opening hours.
It seems like you rip off and take advantage of customers on the presumption that they don't know what you're talking about. And MY additional charges seem to have been added out of spite rather than necessity.

I had a issue with the CPU of my PC and took it to Lichfield Computer Centre. They provided a absolutely perfect service and we?re done resolving the issue really quick. I can?t thank you enough.

First class in all areas. I took in a laptop which had crashed. They gave me a fixed price including a warranty. Fast, professional service with excellent communications. Both Zac and Nick were very helpful, courteous and provided detailed explanations. I would highly recommend them.
