It has a nice beer garden that I?m sure would be lovely in summer, and it had lots of interesting memorabilia to look at too ? I just didn?t get the best vibe from the place, but it might have just been an off day

A regular haunt, always in good company. Has regular live music and enthusiastic and friendly bar staff. A proper British pub with character.

Visited at 8pm on a Saturday night and the pub was empty. May have something to do with overbearing smell of damp as soon as you enter. Gets worse towards the toilets where the stench of urine made you gag. They need to lift those old quarry tiles and replace with something more practical. Shame as this is a lovely old pub, just seems to have gone down bank in recent times.
