Avoid. Dishonest.
I took 4 jumpers into the Cheadle branch around the end of January. When I collected the jumpers some weeks later ( I have to take off from work as they close at 3, don't open on Saturdays amd also have early closing days. )
One of the jumpers had gone grey . It took me some time to be able to the jumpers back as I had to take more time off work.
I rang Leek and they told me to take it to Cheadle. I've just gone to collect it today only to be given a letter denying responsibility and saying it was the previous owner..
I went home and located the bank statement which gave the date of 29/01/24 with a payment of £23.20 which is correct for 4 jumpers. Gary who is he owner then got very angry and told me to take him to the small claims court which I shall do with immediate effect.
I've been a loyal customer for many years but clearly these are not a company to deal with any longer.

Set of large curtains ironed badly, uneven ironed edges with creases, unironed at heading. Took back, did a hasty attempt to redo edges, not much better, assistant inferred MY fault as I'd washed them initially! Obv. not their fault either for not ironing below headings! Cost a lot for shoddy service. Would not use again.

Took a treasured bedspread into to be cleaned. Told is would be two weeks. Called to confirm it was as ready to collect and when I turned up they could not find it. I identified it thrown on top of a machine and was told they were very busy and it had not been cleaned. Took by bedspread elsewhere.
