Excellent sausage barm and carrot cake. Great tea and coffee. All at reasonable prices. Clean cafe. Lots of outside and undercover seating on Platform 2 with views of the trains. Pleasant, polite and helpful staff. Car park and a fairly short walk from the lake. Don't miss out on riding on the narrow gauge trains. Recommended!

Not a cafe! It is more of a kiosk to serve hot-cold drinks and a very small selection of snacks (chocolate bars, pre-packaged cakes). Missed opportunity for the site to earn revenue they can invest in operating the railway (which is awesome - this review is just the 'cafe'). Sadly the cafe has been demolished and I believe a new one is to be built. Was good when we visited last year
