Well, ive been using this Balti since it opened in the early 90s. From then ive been every year with family and partners. Recently i have been having more takeaways.Ive never had a bad meal or experience probably with 100 meals. They good value and tasty and are known for large nann breads. This is why its so popular and stayed in business id say.But recently things have gone down hill and its a shame. Last 3 meals over a 6 week period have been hit and miss. Chicken spinach was always, irony, the right temperature and dark. I was told the old chef was ill so they had a different one on but wasn't their long. But they still not right. Surely the staff who work there could tell the chef how they should be to keep up the quality. The meal has gone too spicy, or not spicy and for some reason has got a sicky sweet taste to it now. Its gone very light and orange and not the dark spinach color it was for the good years. But one big difference is the nann breads. They have gone ALOT Smaller.? Why change things when they have worked So well for over 30 years???????. Also the poppadoms and little bag if salad which finished the meal has gone aswell. Iknow they might want to kee price down but id prefer pay the extra and keep the Great taste and quality its always been. To all who work there, Please?? get it back up to standard. If quality drops the customers and regulars will aswell. Hope it gets back to proper flavors and large renowned nann breads. John.

Cannot believe how good the Achari is, just moved to the area and was worried I wouldn't find somewhere as good as my old Indian. This meal blew my socks off with flavour.

We have been coming here for over 20 years and love it. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly. Food is always amazing at a great price. Its a hidden gem. Need to book for a Saturday, usually busy. Love this place.

Great traditional Indian food. Served very authentically in Balti dishes (if you have Balti of course...), with generous portions. The naan breads are also the biggest I'v ever seen. And they are to die for. Honestly, the naan breads themselves, I find, are enough as a meal on their own! Very reasonably priced too considering the quality and portion sizes. Will be returning. They are also happy for you to take away any unfinished food in a doggy bag. They also do takeaways with delivery. And if you live in the local area, at the time of this review, is only £1.One thing to keep in mind, they don't have a drinks licence. So you can't order alcohol there. But they are happy for you to bring your own wine/beer etc.Champion.

The food was good and worth going for. Decor needs a little tlc. Staff pleasant but need a bit more 'umph' about them. Need to be more attentive and look busier as there were too many standing around.Parking: Car park across the road.

I?m fully aware of the cost of living crisis, but having used this establishment on a regular basis over the last fourteen years, I can honestly say I will never use them again. They have increased prices by circa 25-30% over the last few months, making it one of the most expensive ?Indian? places to eat locally and have ditched, the ?free? accompaniments like poppadoms, mango chutney and salad, fair enough. But the food is now absolutely disgusting, foul tasting garbage. There was no meat in the keema balti and very few chickpeas in the chana balti and both just tasted like a bottle of vinegary brown sauce. Putrid. Zee may well be a great guy but this place is an absolutely disgusting rip off. Avoid at all costs.

Really nice experience came with a friend at the weekend for the first time. Staff were really polite and the food was lovely. Tasted slightly different to what I was expecting as I?d ordered a chicken tikka masala and I expected it to be quite creamy and sweet but it was more savoury. Really enjoyable though!
