Went here to find out about getting another Greyhound. Lisa was lovely and explained everything to me and chose the right dog that would be a perfect fit for me. I'm very happy with the choice and hope to adopt Norah soon.

I absolutely applaud greyhound gap for everything they do. Can?t remember how I first stumbled across them but I enjoy receiving their newsletters and seeing what they?re up to with the doggos and wider community.Just had an awful email this eve about a poor houndy who?d just found her new home and has run into serious health issues in the first week. The owners health insurance hadn?t kicked in because they?d had her for such a short period of time so greyhound gap have stepped in, paid initial critical costs and now set up a go fund me for additional treatment. This is a place that really gives a damn about their animals regardless of whether they?ve been rehomed or not and if you adopt from them, you?ll know they?ll always have doggos best interests at heart which is huge for these underappreciated and exploited breeds. You are absolutely fantastic people and such a worthy cause

I have not visited Greyhound Gap. I have tried numerous times to telephone them but got no reply. I then left them an e-mail last weekend but a week later have not yet received a reply. I am ver disappointed.

Walked my dog in the woods, a public area only to have a hurl of verbal abuse from a chavvy worker/volunteer, not sure how it works at myself and my family due to my dog having a run around off her lead. I have a labrador who's as soft as anything who once we saw the people we put on the lead. Needless to say big man opened his mouth once he had walked passed us.Not setting a very good example of a company caring for dogs.

I don't doubt the love & dedication of those that run it. I fell out with them when they refused me a Lurcher because they said he was too reactive to other dogs. While that's true, Blue Cross succeeded easily by casual introduction.Don't let that put you off because they do a wonderful job rehoming ex racers and Lurchers and deserve all the praise for their love and dedication.

About 5 years ago we visited Greyhound Gap as we were thinking of getting a Greyhound to re-home after looking and speaking to Lisa who works so hard to save Greyhounds many of who have had no love or care and yet they are so loyal and loving as we found out by taking a lurcher into our home he was so thin it was hard to believe people could be so cruel, we called him Chip and the first time we took him out he walked into a shop window because he hadn't seen one before and we also had to show him how to climb stairs, Two Weeks ago we lost him passing away due to Cancer if we had known this we would have still chosen him because it worked both ways he also chose us sitting right up against my leg, luckily we had him insured through pet plan helping us to keep him for as long as we could without him suffering. We are missing him more than I can say such a lovely companion he went everywhere with us and made many many friends including humans he knew every shop that welcomed him and gave him a treat. Rest in Peace now mate your pain has gone but ours will go on. Love always Mum and Dad XX ??
