Lovely pub out the way abit but worth the visit. You can sit outside and watch the swans and ducks. Food was fresh and hot and service was good too

We called in here on Thursday 14th August 2025 as we were on our boat and moored here for the night. We thought we would just have a couple of drinks and then go eat back at the boat but having looked at the menu we decided to eat here as well, we both had baguette with chips and salad garnish they were excellent as was the service and drinks

I took my disabled husband and mother in law for a Sunday carvery today, and we had such a lovely time.
The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. The food looked and tasted amazing. Thank you everyone for such a lovely experience.

Fairly quiet on a Wednesday but really friendly place in a super location. Staff were all ultra friendly and helpful. Most enjoyable.

Nice pub on the canal junction, with a nice outdoor seated area for looking at the canal and the ducks and swans that have made their home there.
The young staff that served were a little 'nonchalant' and lacking in the basic skills of polite service.
But all ok, ok pub grub, ok pub.
