Got sold a package that was very mis-leading and conning and we weren't the only family either. Was meant to include firework display aswell as our stay in the enchanted village but when we got to the fireworks display we had to pay another £176 on top of the £300 we had already payed just to stay for one night, in a time of hardship on families the prices Alton Towers charge are absolutely disgusting and would rather put the money towards a proper holiday. The staff seemed clueless, dozey and not very helpful

The Enchanted Village is a really nice set up and the cottages have all the expected mod cons of a basic hotel room that aren't found in the stargazing pods.We were in 785 in October 2023 and it was cosy, clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. There's a main room and a separate bunk room but it's only a curtain that divides the rooms. The bathroom is large and has a shower over the bath. The downside is the shower screen. It is very low and is almost pointless if you're over 5' 6" or over. At the right height for me (6'4") the water just bounced off my head and straight on to the floor...????The Crooked Spoon is the nearby restaurant come bar of an evening and it had a good set up. We only used it for breakfast and enjoyed what it had to offer which was a buffet breakfast with every taste or diet covered. The hotels are a short walk away and easy to get to.Parking is about 1/4 of a mile away from the cottages unless it's a WFA cottage then there's a space at the door. The obvious question I asked myself after I'd stayed in the cottage was, "Why pay roughly the same for a cottage that is like a hotel room and you have to walk further to the park entrance instead of just having a hotel room?" They are cute and cosy for a short stay with a covered front porch which, as with the separate kids' sleeping area, you don't get with the hotel room. Probably worth the walk for the slightly more private feeling accommodation.

Room was okay, shower head kept falling down the wall fixture so have to be about 4ft and under to shower and there was dark hairs all over the shower head. Plenty of clean towels and the bed was comfortable. The site definitely needs some form of take away to make eating easier. We booked last minute for 2 nights and all the restaurants were fully booked for meals. Tried just eat and it was declined by restaurant after giving address (not sure they wanted to deliver to the park) Thank goodness to the wonderful young man at the crooked spoon who managed to squeeze us in on more than one occasion I didn't get his name but you made a hungry family very happy, gold star service for him! We did notice there was no manual on how to use phone or contact numbers etc like you would normally expect to see. There was one list but only to tell you how much you have to pay if you break something. The tea and coffee went down well and there were some biscuits.

Fun for a short stay. Beautiful grounds, comfortable enough beds. It was however so enchanted I couldnt quite figure why the bathroom mirror was above the toilet bowl rather than above the sink! Staff were also friendly enough at this part of the resort unlike over at the main hotel. Food options around the resort is really bad especially Secret Garden so we probably would stay again.

Could benefit from better signage around Enchanted Village. The lodge was great size, warm, dry and comfortable. Would like to see floor plans of accommodation on the website, with 2 older children they're fussy about sleeping arrangements. It has main bedroom and then 3 bed bunk in 1 separate area. Enchanted Village is the longest walk to the park (around 30 minutes) but ypu can hop on the monorail and shave 20 minutes off. Crooked Spoon breakfast had a great choice of hot and cold. Would recommend and stay again.

Stayed here for one night on the 2-day pass bundle. The bed was comfy, few little amenities like a kettle with tea and coffee with a selection of biscuits. A hairdryer was located in the draw on the dresser table. Plenty of clean soft towels. The TV worked which is useful no signal issues. Not too far a walk to the monorail to get into the park. Staff were helpful on arrival and check out. Plenty of parking after checking in at 4 p.m. Would recommend.

stayed here for my 21st birthday with my friends and it was absolutely amazing! we loved it, we were only in the actual treehouse for a short amount of time but it was amazing:) the hottub was already heated up for us arriving, an xbox and many games such as monopoly and top trumps, they chucked in an extra bottle of prosecco for us since it was my birthday and i was told over email since there was a birthday that there would be a certificate but there was so much for me there, and lots of sweet goodies for us, and balloons! our host was amazing she took us over in the golfcart and fully explained everything there was to know as well as showed us around, couldnt have been better, thank you for the most amazing birthday and gettaway:)

Really fantastic accommodation- and good value compared to the hotels on site. We?ve stayed at the main Alton Hotel and Splash landings, and it?s just as good in my opinion. Bunk beds + cot for the kids, very quiet, warm and cosy.Breakfast at the crooked spoon was included ; and was great. Good food, staff and atmosphere. Great way to start the day.My only criticism is the area where the lodges are homes is fairly bland. There isn?t much for the kids to do on the way to the lodge. Compared to the main hotel which is very immersiveOtherwise, if we were to return ; we?d definitely choose the enchanted lodges.

Visited in Sept for a 1 night stay, really impressed with the woodland lodge! Super clean, spacious and great decoration. It has a double bed and bunk beds for children (in a separate room), lodge has its own bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Towels and toiletries are included along with tea and coffee. The lodges are In a really nice area aswell, the breakfast in Crooked Spoon was lovely and I would recommend the Rollercoaster Restaurant in the park for tea (you can still visit outside park hours).

Two day visit to the park and over night stay everything was great and had lots of fun! The cabins were super cute and were lovely to stay in would definitely stay in them again! Definitely planning on coming back again next year Only a 4 star rating (would probably rated lower if I didn?t think the park was great)not because of the cabin or park but because of the restaurant called secret garden I got food poisoning from the steak dish and another member of the party also had a dodgy belly but I was horrendously ill and it ruined the second day for me a lot and still a couple of days later I?m feeling really rough and had to take extra time off work? secret garden definitely put a whole downer on the time away and would not recommend eating there again

I booked this for my friends 40th birthday eight of us stayed in the Chestnut Treehouse. From booking to the moment we left the resort staff have been absolutely amazing especially Amy (treehouse host), Josh (senior receptionist) and Mick (aka Paul McCartney). Amy made sure it looked lovely for when we arrived and that all our luggage was already in there for us and had it collected the next day and taken back to the hotel for us. The treehouse was just so beautiful and they had decorated in birthday banners and balloons they?d put in a hamper filled with lots of goodies and Prosecco. Room service food was great and wasn?t too long a wait. The photos don?t do the treehouse justice to how big and beautiful the treehouse actually are. It?s a perfect setting for a weekend away with family or friends. The beds were really comfortable lovely pillows and duvet, fans provided in each room, plenty of towels, robes, slippers and toiletries. We will be returning!

The Enchanted village accommodation is attractive and nicely spaced out and well maintained. Our room was clean and tidy, but the bunk beds were a little uncomfortable for my 11 and 12 year old - would be perfectly ok for smaller children. Breakfast was fine, although book as early as possible, as initially we were only offered a 10.15am slot via the app a week in advance. The restuarants were busy and loud at the end of the school holidays in the evenings and were expensive. One of my children has an eating disorder (ARFID) so we ate off-site in the evening which was not a massive problem for us. The staff we encountered on site were all excellent and very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very pleasant short family break.

Really enjoy staying at the Enchanted Village. I prefer it to the hotels as its quieter. It's only a 5 minute walk from the hotels were you are able to go to enjoy the entertainment. Obviously very handy for for the parks! The rooms themselves are semi-detached hobit like cottages. Room facilities are good, but would benifit further if a fridge was also provided. I also found the on village restaurant, Crooked Spoon to be good for both breakfast and evening meal.

It's a cute little place for an overnight stay to get to the Alton Towers Theme park or the Alton Towers Water park! 3 beds available for kids in bunk style and a double bed in the main room..all cutely decorated in true woodland style. Breakfast at the Crooked Spoon needs to be booked in advance and was plentiful with a good amount of choice! Accessible pathways for wheelchairs and buggies, cute little play areas scattered around and evening entertainment at the partner hotels. Shower system is great! TV a little basic with a few channels but who's watching TV anyway?! I would recommend it.
