A great local cafe with great coffee, a comprehensive menu and a good selection of cakes and sweet treats. The staff are very accommodating to menu requests and take the time to clearly explain thier menu items. We often look forward to returning when in the area. The only negatives are the fact that it closes too early and when booked out for private functions these closings are not publicised, resulting in wasted trips over only to find you are not able to be served.

Had my daughters baby shower here today after reading the reviews was so looking forward to visiting here but unfortunately it must have been an off day ,food took over an hour to come out with a small plate of sandwiches not even enough for a quarter each I did ask for more we got some 15 minutes later presented very poorly, chicken drumsticks were nice , but the rest of the food not so it was all vegetarian based rather strange , drinks took half an hour to come after ordering so over all for £13.95 per head it felt like a bit of a rip off to be honest, the room is nice the music good but the overall experience was sadly a very disappointing one

My husband and myself go to Cafe Roux often for breakfast which is always top service and great breakfast, wouldn't go anywhere else but on this occasion we decided to go for lunch. The chef is great and the food tasted amazing. I would highly recommend

What a way to spend a few hours....friendly staff and great service. The food and drinks are made with care and everything was tasty, all of the team were willing to help, and we're flexible to make the birthday girls day really special, and we even got to take home doggy bags....thank you for helping us celebrate a wonderful 30th Birthday.

Normally a great place for breakfast but the organisation ia pretty bad. We waited 1h+ just for a small breakfast.. also the 2 young waitresses do not seem to have a clue what they are doing.. dissapointing
