On the way to the airport popped in for lunch starters n mains x 3 plus drinks, starters average pub grub, pie amazing. Service absolutely awful to say the least, blond lady acted like it was end of the day, wanted u out. I had to leave my food to ask for vinegar and sauce, not once did she ask if food was OK!! Terrible customer service. Needs seek out some hospitality training asap

Called in for some food and drink as we were passing, unfortunately they weren't serving food on that particular day ? so had a beer which was good. A nice welcoming place.

Popped in here for Sunday lunch and it was lovely good sized portions lovely roast and veg piping hot with lots of gravy. Perfect! Thankyou everyone there you made us very welcome.

Went with the family for Sunday lunch having booked a table beforehand. The landlady said she'd send someone over to us when we arrived but no one came after over 20 minutes and when I went over to tell someone one of the waiters said they hadn't been told we had arrived. The food was very good but we won't be rushing back.

We came at the weekend to celebrate an 80th birthday in the family! The pub is old and traditional and the pies and meals that our family had were lovely!
The waitress who served us was young and polite but not knowledgable with what was on the menu or sold out, so she had to do a few trips back to us from the kitchen. It would have been better, as we were seated to be told what was sold out to inform our decisions from the start.
Sadly, the pub has NO baby changing facilities which is extremely disappointing! We had to take our baby and change him in our car, whilst it was raining and cold! Not ideal! The bar woman who I asked about these facilities was quite abrupt too which wasn?t helpful! I?m writing this review to inform families with babies of the situation. We did have a nice meal and enjoyed our time at the pub!

I went today with my family for lunch and I ordered a scampi with chips. When it came I cut into the scampi and it was pink and slimy and basically raw, they bought me a fresh batch out that were the same. I am pregnant so this would have been extremely dangerous had I eaten it. I had no apology and I was told it was my fault for ordering scampi whilst I was pregnant.

Nice little pub next to a farm shop. The fresh ingredients made for a perfect lunch. The landlady knew what she was talking about and service was quick. Loved the fireplace and the middle and gave a nice homely feeling. Would love to come back here

Fantastic pies and good selection of beers. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Log fires and great atmosphere would recommend and visit again. The farm shop on the car park has plenty of good quality .eats and pies available.
