Sunday morning breakfast with a group of friends.
We all agreed that every item on the full English breakfast was cooked to perfection.
This is definitely a venue we will go back to.

Not been here for years, and boy has it changed, it still a great local, but has been really nicely well done.
Its got a bar area and seating area, covered and uncovered outdoor seating too and Is totally dog friendly, with dog bowls to fill up with water and drinking station for humans too with glasses and water.
The staff are really helpful and welcoming and the menu whilst not huge has loads of special options, for lunch menu i think most options were around £6 for ciabatta or £8 something with drink and chips, they gave ngci menu and small plates take on a tapas style option with pub snacks and steak Nights etc, sunday roasts.
But perhaps the best thing ive never seen before is a senior menu, with smaller plates and dessert options that can be included in price, i went with elderly neighbour who doesn't eat a normal portion so this is ideal and really good value for money.
Be aware the booking system through the app doesn't allow you to book within 2hrs of arrival, it was a good job i phoned ahead as almost went elsewhere and would have missed out.
Parking is free but remember to put reg in screens inside pub or you will be charged, can totally understand this move as shops opposite and it means you get a space.
All in all a great pub not to be missed if your in area

Had a fantastic experience at The Woodman ? such a great spot for a relaxed night out. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what really made the visit stand out was the incredible service from Saff and Kiana. Both were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the evening feel special. You could tell they cared about making sure everyone had a good time, and they handled everything with such professionalism and positive energy.
Whether you?re popping in for a quick drink or settling in for the night, you?re in great hands with Saff and Kiana behind the bar. Highly recommend

Absolutely love The Woodman Pub! The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. A special shoutout to Saff and Kiana ? they were both incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and more. It?s rare to find staff who are not only efficient but also genuinely lovely to chat with. Great drinks, tasty food, and just an all-around great place to relax. Highly recommend!

We had gammon with chips..and chicken shawarma..it was nice enough but bit dry..and very small portions..the chicken was just chopped up pre cooked plain chicken with some sauce drizzled over the top mixed with a lot of lettuce and 3 small slices of tomato..and a very small piece of gammon...£15.99 for those two small plates... atmosphere was pleasant enough...staff were friendly...just a bit disappointed is all...

Visted the other night for a nice evening meal and the food was perfect! The service was great and Holly worked exceptionally hard to cater to us speedy even though we could see that the pub was very busy!

IPA Sauce on the Ultimate Sharing Platter was funky.
Rest of the food and service was absolutely spot on, well worth the money. All servers were lovely and attentive.
Brendan was a great bartender, made our experience well worth the outing. Top notch lad.
