Ordered the mixed grill. Portion was smaller than expected and didn't have no flavour. The chicken hardly had any meat on it. Ordered poppadoms and was told that the dips came with them but we're charged for them on the bill ? When we left there was not even a good bye or a how was everything with your food. Not a very good service to be honest and food quality was not the best

Probably the vast Indian food I have ever eaten. They are super friendly and polite. The food is hot, fresh and with gorgeous flavours.

Since Bubs sold the business on the new owners has let standards and quality slip.
The chicken is horrid and rubbery. We as a family have been coming to the village lodge for over 12 years and never had a bad meal. Since the beginning of the year we have had issues with every meal ate there.
Bring back the old owners and quality of food.
Shame as we loved eating here but not no more.

Lovely little restaurant with great food and good service. Can definitely recommend the chicken and mushroom Balti and the stuffed mushrooms.
