It's a spoons as you'd expect

You don't go to Wetherspoons expecting haute cuisine, but the value for money (especially between 2pm and 5pm) is very good. Service was good, table clearing was slow though. This is a very popular pub and the food is ok. Much if it is pre-prepared and heated but I particularly like the steak and kidney pudding, mash, mushy peas and gravy. Steaks can be good, the gammon was a good choice last time I had it. I wish they would allow dogs at the lower outdoor seating area though. It's at least 50 metres away from the back doors to the pub but it's a National policy I believe.

JDs a vary dependjng upkn location, time of day, school holidays etc., but this one in Cheadle (Staffordshire) is consistently good.

Breakfast cold beans hard and all clumped together with hard bits in worst breakfast from any weatherspoons did complain just to be told sorry no replacement or refund offered

The wheatsheaf was really nice we found it extremely cosy and clean. The service was great and very prompt the staff were also extremely polite and helpful. The menu was obviously the usual Wetherspoons food but the setting and staff made our visit better than other Wetherspoons we visited in the past. I also like how they have plenty of local history on display explaining famous local places or people.
Wheelchair accessibility: They had a dedicated disabled entrance with a power assisted door and disabled toilets on the ground floor.

Interesting interior that makes it feel cosy and intimate.
Although they have disabled toilets, they are impossible to get to in a wheelchair due to a couple of tight corners and a table placed in the way.
Wheelchair accessibility: Steps at the back from the car park. You can get in the front but getting around inside is difficult to impossible in places. No wheelchair access to disabled toilets.
