Went in 16th Aug for the 1st time , car parking is big and can get your car on easy no not too over crowded.
The pub seems nice . I think when you 1st walk in on reception area i think that needs to be renovated more better . It just looks like a corner gloomy corner pub , but then gets nicer and better where you eat.
Not a criticism just honest feedback- Staff probably mean all good and well friendly from how it was. I think the staff there should be trained abit better or just be more aware of each customer that comes in for example i wasnt dressed up just causally comming in with my new born son which eas in a car travel and my mother , wanted put us on a table that only 2 hairs , so what you expect me do put my son on the floor? I then seated on a 4 table so i could put my son next to me on chair.
The waitress saw i had a job on my shoulders of sorting my baby bag out and positioning my son in the seat and asks if we need drinks.. well yeah iv not even literally sat on the chair..
Anyway meal was okay. I feel like it was just thrown into some oven really but it was good for the price i paid.
Yes I would come back , not in a massive rush but it is okay for somehwhere to eat and chill if your on the go.

A lovely country pub restaurant. Plentiful parking and a wide choice on the menu. I was driving so can't comment on the ale choice but the food was delicious with options for a wide choice of tastes.

Very tasty and very reasonably priced pub food. Portions sizes were excellent, service was great and there were a great selection of desserts and meals to suit everyone. Small plates were also available at a very cheap price as well.

We were a party of 8 getting together for a birthday celebration. The menu had great variety, catering for all our needs. The service was brilliant, staff really taking care of us and other the other customers at this very busy time. Would recommend!

What an absolutely belting pub lunch! It was like going back in time to a bygone age of warm welcomes, excellent service, delicious food (very decent portion sizes too) and real value for money. Such a rare combination these days...highly recommended for families.

Went to The Ship last night with husband and four friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, empty plates for everyone but too full for desserts. Plenty of choice for us all , reasonable price and pleasant staff. We will be back.

After years of living locally we decided to finally try the ship for food, I really wish we hadn't.
Briefly..... the surver was scruffy, very inattentive.... almost unaware we were even there although it was empty. The larger was disgusting and it was very clear the lines hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Most bitter, vinagary pint I've ever had.
Cleaned my cutlery while waking for my food.... The food was so basic, frozen, under cooked it was laughable.
. That's a basic underlay..... . At least weatherspoons own what they are, cheap and cheerful food that's alright.. This place was none of those things.... Struggling pretentious pub grub desperatly trying to go more upmarket......
Horrible start to finish.....
