Worst meal in ages. Empty bar. No heating only portable heater in bar.
Ordered Thai fish cakes which were ordinary fish cakes with a hot sauce. Won't be going again.

Went for food, had pizza last time I visited, was best pizza ever, had porky pig pizza. This time I had a roast dinner, was really nice had cake aswell.. service was great from the staff also. Can't go wrong, lovely place and food and service.

Website out of date and incorrect prices.
Outside looks like a junk yard.
We ate in the lodge part, builder?s bags and step ladders leaning against the beautiful fireplace focal point.
No drinks menu, waiter tried to remember what drinks were sold.
Roast Sunday lunch was nice but didn?t have much gravy. Asked for some more, twice, finally got it and was charged £2 for it.
When I questioned this the waiter said ?I don?t make the rules?
Could be so much better with a few tweaks.

Great place , dog friendly in the amazing barn , warm , friendly great homemade pizzas you can see being made in the pizza oven , delicious. Friendly and professional young staff, who offer table service.
The pub is erm the opposite, needs a overhaul , old fashioned and messy . Wasn't impressed , but like I said the wooden barn and beer garden makes up for it ? busy road , very small car park

Great country type pub on the outskirts of town, big enclosed area with thatch type roof etc where they make pizza to order etc

Lovely pub pleasantly surprised, I did like the look of the pizza, though cheese for me is a no go.... my next visit I might see if a pizza without cheese is possible.
