The manager (I assume it was a manager) in here has an attitude problem. Came over to the self serve to approve an energy drink and was utterly miserable. No hello, just a grunt and a huff. After leaving us less than impressed she then turned round and started berating a young lad who was clearly quite new (and busy)for no reason at all. Clearly put out that she had to do something herself. I?d be surprised if he sticks around. Clearly nobody keeping an eye on this store higher up as seems most of the bad reviews are about the staff. Will purposefully avoid this store in future.

Terrable customer service. Me and another lady were lined up for 10 mins and I called for help and the young tiny Muslim girl comes over doesn?t even say hello or thanks for waiting nothing! When it came to my turn I said hi to her and she never responded and has no manners in her role. This is the 5th time Iv had an encounter with her and she should consider herself lucky tescos employed her as she def not doing them any favours

This is the third occasion I've bought something on the yellow sticker discount and it was gone off. First time was pork, which smelled of rotten meat when I opened it after getting home. Today I got some potatoes in butter sauce and the butter had gone rancid, the bag smelled of rotten milk. Its honestly dangerous how the yellow sticker food is stored, I've seen meat still for sale which is left on the unrefridgerated pallets where the yellow sticker bread is usually kept. I wouldn't usually review a business but this honestly is not safe

This Tesco never opens at 6am it?s an absolute joke , then when the staff finally arrive they and open up sometimes 30 minutes later they are rude and have poor customer service , the amount of custom lost due to the tardiness of the staff must really mount up over the last few weeks

I wish to say a big Thankyou to the staff in Tesco this morning who when having no leftover bread from yesterday , filled a bag of fresh bread and pastries to donate to the foodbank at Cheadle Trinity .It makes a huge difference ?

Doesn't even deserve 1 star not after tonight anyway ,the 2 female staff on duty are disrespectful rude and to be honest the lads that are usually there working are always polite friendly and genuinely lovely men . The 2 jumped up little madames I came across tonight we're the worst staff I've ever had an experience with within the 5 years and 4months that I have been using Tesco express Cheadle ,everyday I spend my money in here and don't expect to be spoke to how I was tonight .will sooner give my money to Sainsburys round the corner and it's a shame because I've always enjoyed coming in store With the regular.staff not anymore .sorry tesco

A small Tesco Express store opposite Subway and next to The Upper Room in Cheadle Village. The store wasn't very clean, there was rubbish on the floor which had been swept to the side and the staff hadn't done anything with it and didn't appear to be doing anything with it, it was just rather messy. The selection was okay for a store of its' size, I was disappointed to find there were no Nespresso Starbucks capsules, they only had one option/brand, which was poorer than other Tesco Express stores. 3* - A-OK, useful if you're in a rush nearby and can't get to a bigger supermarket but selection and cleanliness can, of course, be improved.
