This is a large Sainsbury's store, located on Wilmslow Road, it is located next to John Lewis in Cheadle, the two stores share an entryway, with John Lewis on the left, and Sainsbury's on the right. I would have thought a Waitrose Supermarket would have been better located here, as they're owned by John Lewis, it seems strange John Lewis letting a rival open up right next to them in the same building. It is fairly easy to get around the store, and the selection is good in most areas, although there were some notable issues. I did find the "Meal Deal" section consisting of bottled drinks, sandwiches, snacks etc being at the back of the store to be really annoying, and by the time I got there the section was depleted and out of stock of almost everything which is poor show. Sainsbury's Smartshop doesn't seem to work too well in this store due to the poor mobile signal, in some areas, I didn't have a service at all. Sainsbury's Smartshop is the feature which allows you to scan and bag items as you walk around the store before heading to the self-checkout to finish up. There is a Sainsbury's Cafe here, which is a dying breed now with Sainsbury's slowly phasing them across the store network. 3* - OK, it's a large Sainsbury's, fixing the signal issue and ensuring a good product selection in all areas are immediate improvements.

Easy to get to and friendly staff. Having Argos on the site is quite convenient. It has wide aisles, which makes it easier to manoeuvre your trolley. The cafe does good food.\\n\\nThey could do with an additional trolley bay at the shop end of the disabled spaces lane.

I visit Sainsbury in Cheadle fairly regularly. It's a very large store with food, homeware and clothing, and selected electrical equipment, much of which are at reasonable prices. In terms of contents, then, it has everything Sansbury has to offer. Needless to say as it is becoming the norm there is an Argos branch available. There is also a Sainsbury bank and a coffee shop. Those with more disposable income and larger budgets can visit John Lewis Store, which is located next door. The centre is within easy reach from A34 close to Cheadle and Heald Green.

Went there thisafternoon about 2pm to the cigarette counter. Terrible customer service! Staff extremely slow! Couldn't be bothered attitude! Woman who served me was extremely rude and miserable slammed cigarettes on the counter! Obviously didn't want to be there! And seemed more interested in holding the que up by chatting about her personal life. Rather than serving customers! She also looked very scruffy with lank shoulder length grey hair! And looked as miserable as a Bulldog chewing a wasp ! I expect better!

Had to put this post up about an amazing member of staff, Aylie, was absolutely amazing. She was working in the cafe and had to put up with some awful behaviour and abuse from a customer. Aylie handled herself and the situation with grace! Sainsbury's should really be proud of staff like this.

Just left, shop quite empty, yet staff rude, unhelpful and cannot seem bothered. So miserable inc one I believe is some sort of manager( how he got that role I do notknow!) glasses and a bald head sort off. Then a lady walks out and alarm goes off, she just looks shows what she bought and no checking of receipts yet last time that happened to me I was stopped and they (security)needed to see receipts! Very inconsistent. Everybody should be treated equally no matter who they are!!!!!!! Do better Sainsburys and read some if not all your reviews on here. Better still change some staff or management as they love pointing rather than take or show you.The lady at the till was so nice though, polite, chatty and very helpful.

The staff are very polite. Which is always a good thing.I think the reason mobile reception is poor is to discourage mobile usage. Again, a good idea. But 999 emergency services are not affected.

All of the trolley stations at the back of the car park don?t have the means to get your coin back. Lack of attention to detail

Large shop with homeware and clothes section. Isles are wide enough to make for comfortable shopping. Poor mobile phone reception inside.

Products fine but less than excellent service when it came to explaining a discrepancy between the initial bill payment and the final bill payment because of the deduction based on Nectar point.

Great location (close to the AirPort); great variaty of organic food selection. Especially love cinnamon & raisin bagels!

Lotsa isles.Lotsa people.Prepare to park on the other side of the car park as the people of Cheadle can't park correctly or even within the bright white guidance lines specifically designed to aid in correct and considerate parking.

Great store with lots of parking. Added bonus with this store is that a) it is next John Lewis and b) it has an Argos store in the main area. The layout of the whole store is supreme. All of the aisles were clear and the shelves were all bursting with goodies. There is lots of room to get up and down and around each aisle. When I needed assistance I found it very quickly. Now for the most exciting bit??the self service tills are brilliant. I did not have to queue for more than a couple of minutes and the console as super quick and easy to use. It really made shopping a pleasure. Go and see what you think.
