Pick up instructions were spot on - but you have to follow it step by step to get out to the public street and find your driver. They were terrific once we got past all the other vendors. Our Driver was great! Loved the Sloths and Monkeys, it's a small place, but suited our need to be with the animals. The beach stop was confusing, and we ended up paying a resort fee to be taken to a beach with chairs and service.

Booked an executor tour Nassau! There were supposed to be several stops. The driver missed half of them with an excuse, it?s busy, or it?s raining. We paid for those stops! No refunds were given! Beware! Do Not book through them!

This is a scam, buyer beware. We booked a tour in St Martin and had to cancel it do to health reasons with my elderly mother. I canceled in the proper amount of time. The venture ashore people refused to give us a refund and then failed to provide us with any Information for our tour. After several emails with no reply I had to cancel the charge with my credit card company. This tour group is nothing more than fraud run by crooks. Stay away.

Great tour options. Tours went well, smoothly and take you to the historic places want to visit. Guides are very good. Vendor staff is excellent in responding to questions.

Don?t book with this company!!!! I received one of their tours as a gift, and they stood us up!!! We searched everywhere for them, and had no luck. Venture Ashore was not at the meeting place. We?ve been trying to get our money back ever since!!! They won?t call us back when requested, and have stopped replying to our messages. They?ve screwed us out of a wonderful day trip, and now they?re screwing us out of almost $400! Had we known then what we know now, we would never have booked with this company. Please read the reviews on trustpilot as well.

Worst tour experience we could have possibly had! It would be zero stars if that were an option! I had bought my Mom a tour for Mother?s day to go and see Florence and Pisa. However, when we got off the ship and went to the meeting place, there was no one from this tour company to be found. We walked around to frantically try to find the bus or shuttle under Venture Ashore, but we had no luck at all. We phoned the company to try and figure out where to meet, but we got no answer. Our day was ruined. We have been trying to get our money back for the past SIX MONTHS, and the company keeps saying that they will call us back but they still haven?t. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

I was booked on the Hidden Gems of Gran Canaria tour from Port as I was on a cruise ship. Tour bus did not turn up. I have emailed them and they said they were going to look into it. Haven't heard back yet. Trip was on 11 November 2023

We took two tours on our Med Cruise. Acropolis Visit and Panoramic Athens & Olympia Treasures and History Tour. Both tours were fantastic. Basically, private tours for much less than what the cruise ship charge. My only tip, is to remember these are somewhat introductory tours. There just isn't enough time to do and see everything available so if there is something you want to see or know more about, ask your tour guide. All of them were professional and very knowledgeable.

We booked a tour in Malta; the Private Guided Tailor Made Tour of Malta - 4 Hours through Venture Ashore. I had my reservations because I saw so many negative reviews, but this was the best way to see the 3 things in Malta that our group cared to see in the time frame that we had for our port. So I booked it, but I did pay to guarantee the tour (which gives you an extra week to cancel the excursion). It was on the last-minute end of booking (within 2 weeks of our cruise). Communication from Venture Ashore was a little slow, but they relayed to us whatever was needed for the tour in a timely manner.When it was time for our tour to start, we were waiting at the cruise terminal exit as instructed and we couldn't find our guide! I tried calling all the numbers listed for Venture Ashore and they all came back "not a valid number"! (This is the only reason for the loss of a star.) Man, I really started sweating, but I finally resorted to sending them an email, sure that I wouldn't hear back in time...but they responded within 5 minutes and got us in touch with our guide, who was simply waiting without a "Venture Ashore" sign as we had been instructed that he would be.Once we were with the guide, the tour was phenomenal. We had a fantastic time with Mario! He was so informative and helpful and he managed our time extremely well! He took great care of my parents (in their 70's), my daughter (7), and myself - keeping us informed of the plan and our timing throughout the day. He was so knowledgeable and personable that by the end, he invited us to dinner the next time we returned to Malta! I'd absolutely visit again and do another tour with Mario. It was a great day and we truly enjoyed our time at Mdina, the Blue Grotto, and Marsaxlokk.

Booked a post cruise tour with them for a 10 hour tour through Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle. Immediately upon getting on the bus our tour operator told everyone that we would only be going to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Salisbury was going to be skipped because the tour lady said, and this is word for word - "I don't know why they have that town in the description, we never have time to go there". Since 1/3rd of our trip we paid for did not happen, I will be asking for a 1/3 refund, but we all know that will never happen.

Forgot to book a tour today in Tenerife, so when assure and asked if Could join ventureashore Tour. There was room on the van. The company said we couldn?t join even when we offered to pay by credit card by giving them a card number over the phone have used this company in previous itineraries. No longer they lost much more money than we would?ve paid for this tour

We went on an excursion in Ephesus and to the House of Mary. It was supposed to be for 7 hours but it ended up being 10 hours because we had to sit through two sales gimmicks which weren't mentioned in the paperwork. We stopped at a place selling rugs, beautiful but very expensive and we had to wait while some people purchased rugs. Then we went to a fashion show at a leather store and again we had to wait while people purchased leather coats. By the time we got back to the ship we had to rush to get back onboard. I would never use them again for an excursion. I'm sure our guide cut a cut from the sale of the rugs and the leather coats.

Good site when planning cruise ship excursions. The site gives viable alternatives to the cruise ship's excursions, normally at a lower price.
