Awful food, rats running under table, hair in food, undercooked chicken, mouldy bread, feces stained seats and workers seen picking nose and staring at customers eat. Absolutely disgusting.
Vegetarian options: They still put meat in there.
Dietary restrictions: They don?t care, they offer vegan but they still put meat in there.
Kid-friendliness: No, keep your kids away.
Wheelchair accessibility: None. Awful.

Normally love a toby carvery but very disappointed at Norton canes. No Yorkshire puddings were available, promised they were going to bring them out to our table but didn?t.
Then offered a free brownie to take away to compensate. Took our brownies home to find out they were gone off and rock hard. Lovely !

Walked in without booking a table, was finally greeted to by a lady with a poor attitude who said ?nothing available fully booked?. Walked back to my car, went onto the website to see they were no where near fully booked and i could book a table there and then for the time we were there. The couple in front of us were sat straight to a table, and another couple were sat waiting for a table with a buzzer. Neither option were given to us we were just turned away. We come here a lot, wont even bother now.

Had carvery. Needed more fresh food out. Veg was old and cold. Was sat at the back of the carvery. Music was that loud from the kitchen and staff were singing that loud you couldn?t even hold a conversation at the table.

After being glutened after a staff member mis told me what I could eat I received a voucher and we went back to use it. The chef was in a foul mood , kicking doors etc and arguing with servets. Despite ordering gluten free gravy it came when I had nearly eaten, and then he walked past our table to dump it on the serving place, my daughter went up to ask if it was mine and ge was very rude again. We will not be returning. Shame, the manager is very nice but the whole experience was tense and not enjoyable .

I live in Yorkshire..the Toby carvery around Yorkshire give far better portion of up to 2 meats..i was visiting my daughter in Norton Caine yesterday on 19th March...been here before regularly but never again ..2 adults and one child ..that's 2 medium carvery and one small with top up juice..child had pigs in blankets..Total £45.11...REALLY??? ..Very small amount of meat wasn't worth bothering the carver..PATHETIC...obviously some fiddling going on and £45.11 wasn't correct price either....i was so happy to see granddaughter i didn't ask for receipt which surely should be given automatically..an email will be going to head office

Waited ten minutes to be seated, had our carvery and myself and my daughter hadn?t eaten much so asked for a take away box to which we were told they don?t do them, they were using them in the back so why not.. it?s food we?d paid for but wasn?t allowed to take.
Must of had the heating on full as it was so warm inside.
Also staff had the ?can?t be bothered? attitude, as we were walking on the left side to come out with my daughter a member of staff nearly walked right into us, no apology either. Won?t be returning again.

Last couple of visit for breakfast has been really poor service . Constantly waiting for food to come out. Food being under cooked and when mentioning to front staff the comments are disregarded and rude .

An extremely busy Sunday. A 15 minute wait despite booking. Having said that we ended up on a quiter table out of the way. Big queue for the carvery which was moving until 2 people in front of us asked for 4 takeaway carverys. This involved all the serving staff disappearing to get special bags and boxes. Then the two people struggling to serve themselves to four lots of food. Chaotic. On such a busy day there must be a better way of dealing with takeaways. Having said that, the food was delicious. Once we were sat down at our quiet table, it was a very enjoyable meal.

Had a meal here yesterday with my mum. Food was nice. I give the waitress a tip as she was very pleasant. Paid the bill. I then checked the receipts and was charged extra
£4 for kingsize. Myself and mum only had standard. I said the plates are different if you see. She said I can't remember. Offered no refund
I was very pleasant as I could She was very upset over it. Just reminder to everyone check your receipts.

Lovely breakfast, the interior decor needs a good clean and decor is dinghy and dirty.

The service is always very good here from the staff. Lovely atmosphere to sit and dine in. The portion sizes for the meats could be improved and sometimes the meats have been there that long, they have dried out a tad looking like some fossilised find.
Last time I went the roast potatoes were so hard I needed to drink with each mouthful.
Overall, it?s friendly and satisfying but the standard of food could be improved

Me and my son visited here, and we was very disappointed, the meat was very fatty and my son didn?t get a lot, the slices was very thin and I had the knob end of the beef which was un edible, the roast potatoes was that hard it would of knocked a hole in the wall, the peas was dry, the cauliflower cheese was warm but the mac and cheese was cold, the only thing that was fresh was the yorkies as they had just been brought out, we noticed another table had left there food and went. We Won?t be returning here again.
