Food took forever and my sandwich was cold but my cold sandwich was hot not good service or food my food was binned will not be ordering again such a shame as owner is nice but just feel like there in the wrong job as its a few times I have ordered and food is rubbish

Went in on the way home to derby, what a find the people behind the counter were really nice, ordered 2 specials fish chips peas and sausage chips peas , massive portions far too much for me. The food was piping hot as well, freshly cooked , well worth a visit

Terrible! Gave them chance time after time but they always get it wrong.
1st time we waited over one hour for our order because they cooked battered chips when we asked for plain. We had to wait whilst they restarted the order.
2nd time the woman and man working there were arguing and got the order wrong.
3rd time. Order for collection over the phone. Get there 30 minutes later and they haven?t made the order because ?o sorry, I forgot to put it on.? Then had to wait for the order to be cooked.
Diabolical service.

I've been here a few times now and cannot fault the food or service received, on my latest visit my wife came along, so we ate in we sat at a spotlessly clean table were served our food which was perfect, they even advised us when we ordered that the same order could be cheaper by taking it as meal deal rather than separately! Not many places would do that. Well worth the almost 1 hour drive to get there.

23/09/24 Fantastic! The picture doesn't do it justice. We had chicken and battered chips, kebab meats and chips. The food was delicious. The chicken better than KFC. The battered chips, so beautiful. My daughters couldn't get enough of both of the chips or the chicken. My meats, kebab meats were succulent, delicious and perfectly flavoured. The plain chips were something else. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, very courteous. The place is very clean and a nice place to sit and eat very comfortable and warm and welcoming. Couldn't give thanks enough after such a wonderful experience. Great 5 stars for everything. Excellent ?

I like bulk fish and chips, and this is what I got from this chippie. The fish was freshly cooked and the chips were lightly battered.
Normally after eating most of the food I feel as if the chips go a bit soggy and the fish goes dry and half way through I normally regret such a large meal.
HOWEVER, the chips tasted really good until the end and the fish was the same. The fish was wrapped in a hard paper box so the batter didn't stick to the paper.
Overall...really pleased with the quality, quantity and price. I have found my new local chippie !!!

Don?t get me wrong a chippy is a chippy. The chips are alright (what you?d expect) but it is daylight robbery. 10.30 for a small box of mixed meat and chips and a battered sausage ? And when I say small I mean small. And more salad than meat.

Always used this chip shop. My brother did a just eat order. The order wasn't complete and the food is diabolical, chips are cold and like cardboard.
Think they've changed owners.. I'd avoid ordering from them untill they get their acts together. I'd leave no starts if it was possible. Absolutely disgusting. They did try to offer to make it again but I'd rather not get disappointed twice with the atrocious food.. £40 what a waste of money!!!!

Chippy soggy/ hard, talking in a different language in front of me and my friend. Took 10 minutes to get the card reader out and ready. After this my chips were cold. Just utterly a poor chip shop. ?STAY AWAY?
