We had our wedding here yesterday and we are so delighted with this little gem. From start to finish our wedding was an absoulte dream! Nothing was to much to ask for and all staff were absolutely wonderful. Massive shout out to John and Bruse who went above and beyond for us. Thank you for such an amazing magical day and night. 5* Would recommend!

What can I say!! Absolutely fantastic place and staff. From night porters, reception team, housekeepers, bar staff and of course John the manager nothing was too much trouble. All so polite and helpful. Meal the night before my friends wedding was superb, good portion, breakfast are beautiful. Wedding meal excellent. Would highly recommend this beautiful place wether it be for a meal or Wedding venue. Loved it xx

Found The Barns on the CAMRA website. We are travelling from our home in the north of Scotland to the ferry in Plymouth and made The Barns our stopover. Rooms are lovely and the bathroom, in particular the shower, excellent. Went down to the bar for a drink. Excellent real ale and my wife loved the Shiraz. The meal was superb, beautifully cooked and the portions were most generous.
I have no hesitation in recommending The Barns, we will certainly pay another visit when in the area.

Went to The Barns this evening for a meal as they always offer a lot of gluten free options. As always the service was impeccable and the meals were plentiful and hot. Our starters were spot on and we then went on to have our mains. We?d both gone for the Gammon, however even though the majority of the food was excellent ( I didn?t want peas so they gave me mushrooms) the gammon was incredibly salty and I couldn?t eat mine. I did mention it to two members of staff but I didn?t really get any response. I will go to The Barns again, especially during the colder months as the gf bread and butter pudding is yummy.

Attend my neice's wedding stayed the two nights hotel room was nice an clean comfy bed .breakfast was OK staff where friendly .we had food on the Friday night tacos was lovely ,the portions for children are massive. Wedding food was lovely too .would definitely stay here again

Went for a family meal, tried to book a table due to 8 people, was told this wasn?t possible
Arrived just before 5pm to find a table reserved
No other tables so had to sit outside
Food was ok serve was ok
