Yeah I have had a mixed set of experiences. Positive and negative. One moment policy needs to be followed and the next it doesn't exist. Not happy where they enforce a policy which had not been enforced on anyone else except when it happens to be me and my sister ?

Christmas Eve and I came in around 5:30am in the morning, looked at the fresh food reductions and was amazingly pleased with how the layout was perfectly presented and the staff doing the reductions were very friendly and lovely
The staff member Tyler went out of his way to reduce products he started scanning, handed them to me and was super pleasant to talk to, top notch guy. Also who he was with called Rajwinder was pleasant and worked like a great team, both seemed like they loved their job together, good job Tesco Heath Hayes!

Went this morning, I got to checkout a little after 8am, yet still no manned checkout open, so forced to dmself checkout. I think went to cash in some scratchcards which took almost 15 minutes to put through, as the cashier as pleasant as sge was explained she had to now input the prizes individually and only 5 per transaction, as someone who did kiosk work for 18 years I know this process very well (including cash office side) this process should have taken no more than 4 minutes, as someone with MS standing around gor this length of time is no good. Also as you should know, chilled and frozen shouldn't be out of chiller or freezer for more than 20 minutes, had there been a queue this would have been no good at all. I shall shop at Sainsbury's going forward. Friendly staff, long backwards till process. FYI there's no need to keep any scratchcard once it's been through the lottery terminal. Save time pointlessly stapling and just keep the pink slip

Very disappointed I tried to by my buy my veg, pork pie & fruit on 21/12/24 ready for Christmas but although offered at 15p the shelf life expired 22/12 or 23/12 so I waited & went again to my local store Cannock at 10:25pm on 23/12 bearing in mind they advertise being open to 1am the fruit & veg had practically gone & again what was left had an extremely short shelf life ie 26/12. Instead of offering very cheap veg I would rather pay a little more & have my food with a longer shelf life. Would have also like to have been able to purchase all the produce required without being told that I would need to come back in the morning.

Awful store old and way past its, best. I will be making the extra few minutes trip to hednesford from now on. You're lucky to get a trolley at the front of storr as the trolley bays on the car park are always overflowing. Staff miserable and rude, uniform standards poor. Designated scan as you shop lane was closed and had four members of staff standing talking in that area. Also what is the point of me paying via self checkout where a staff member has to authorise you buying alcohol only for you then have to go to a different point and wait several minutes for the same staff member to detag what you have just bought. What an inefficient waste of time and poor customer service. Neither Hednesford or Stafford tesco do this. Also if you are going to operate this system make sure your receipts print clear enough for the staff member to read them rather than you having to point where the items are on the receipt

Completely disgusted ! My wife has just been stopped and bag searched. She goes in that shop on a regular basis and this isn?t the first time it?s happened but never again.
My wife has felt embarrassed while people walked passed staring.
I?m telling all of my family and some have already said they won?t be using that one again

How is this called a Superstore? There's no seasonal section, world foods sections, the confectionary section is pathetic!

Go every week great foods selection and if you can get a Tesco card and you will get a good load of money off multiple products most week changes are weekly and I have spent a lot less than any other supermarket offers today saved 28 pound off 116 with 3.5 voucher for over 50 pound and I got that free in post for last week shop. Better to get the card and don't link to email and you can get vouchers in post then you forgot to look at email and with free vouchers in post. Lots really good regular items for half price today rolo pudding 4 for 1.5 utterly buyterly 2.45 anywhere for 1.75 and 2 Months date large rice crispies 3 normal 4.65 and that's what you can get for just having a clubcard got new top range phone contract with top range phone about 5 month cheaper than online and get points for the phone bill amazing and 18 cans coke cans 9quid today love it

I agree with all the bad reviews here. The customer service is absolutely abysmal and as a customer service manager myself it's sad to see. The staff are forever rude over everything, bags, taking tags off items, helping with the self-checkouts. Some don't even speak to you, I?ve had this often.
The Manager of this store needs to seriously start to manage their staff better because now you are failing at your job. Like so many here I now go to Hednesford Tesco where I am treated like a normal human being. We aren't asking for 5-star service, but we are asking to be treated with respect when spending money in your store.

Why do the staff keep the bags hostage? Never seen this at any other Tesco. You?d think I?d asked them for their first born when asking for a bag (when they?ve finally stopped their conversation when there are people waiting for help?) - so rude.

Never any trolleys or staff on the tills, used to be a great shop.

I really look forward to shopping at Tesco Heath Hayes.
I think Tesco generally speaking has the balance of staff levels, affordability, location and product range just right in most cases, but here at Heath Hayes, it's just better, a pleasure to shop.
I could go on and on, but if I were asked to pick just one outstanding feature, it would have to be the great staff, always happy to help, and usually easy to find.
I live nearer to Brownhills Tesco, but I always find an excuse to go to Heath Hayes.
BTW, I'm not a grocery nut, but I do shop for food, and this is where i do that... just saying.
