Visited Poundland Cannock today and noticed some Starbucks coffees clearly labelled as £1.00. However, when scanned at the self-service till, they came up as £1.50. I raised this with a member of staff, who checked and confirmed the items had been incorrectly labelled, stating they were in fact £1.50. There was no apology or offer to honour the price displayed on the shelf.
As someone who works in retail, I found the lack of accountability and basic customer service disappointing. If I had handled a similar situation this way, I would have been questioned by my area manager. Unfortunately, this experience has put me off shopping here in future.

Went in to store today and brought some compost ,i ask cashier if she had a bag she said only pound one ,then a lady said i have a bin liner, i said yes thank you, then she went over to an old lady and asked if she was ok and got a taxi booked ,what fab customer service ,a credit to the company cannock store dani

I went in for large D batteries which they didn't have and came out with lots of xmas stuff reduced to 50p.

The store seems untidy, difficult to find things, and the man that served me at the till wasn't the friendliest, don't think he even spoke, and came across as rude. I hope he wasn't the manager as his customer service was an awful example to set
