Called in today, staff was busy, but dealing with desk customers and telephone calls, waited 10/15 min, staff apologetic and quick to sort me out 5star service.

Found the two female staff members serving customers stern and rude (20/3/25).
One was sharp with an elderly lady who was just being nice.
Interpersonal skills apparently lacking and they don?t hide the fact they clearly don?t want to be at work.
Waste of a journey personally. Wanted to make a mortgage overpayment in branch to reduce the term - couldn?t be done.
Also wanted my passbook updated to reflect the current balance - couldn?t be done.
Customer service out the window like everywhere else post-Covid.

Disgracefully poor customer service. Attempted to report the death of an account holder and the two people I spoke to could not have been more unhelpful, dismissive or rude if they had tried. Absolutely disgraceful way to treat any customer, let alone an 85 year old widow at such a stressful time.

Visited last week to make an enquiry about an online application for a credit card. There were a number of points online I needed clarification on. The woman I asked couldn't be bothered and didn't want to know. She said its because I had opted out of marketing. What a load of rubbish she spouted. Absolutely clueless and has obviously never filled in an online application for a credit card. Very poor customer service. This woman requires further training. The Lichfield Branch is so friendly and helpful. Don't bother using the Cannock Branch.

Have a very nice and polite full experience today at the Cannock branch. They helped with my enquiry and they were very polite and friendly. Can't remember there names but was a lady on the front door and another lady called Rachel I believe good job guys ?

Been a nationwide customer for years but not at all impressed recently with this branch. Most of the staff are lovely but there are the 'jobsworths' that seem to think because I am 'mature' I'm lacking in brain cells and they can speak to me any way they want. Much better service and staff at Stafford. Unfortunately not always convenient for me to travel to Stafford otherwise I would.Well to just add to the above. I have just been into this branch with the worry of a possible fraudulent transaction on my bank card. After waiting to go in the branch I was questioned by a member of staff at the door who told me the only thing I could do was get a mini statement but that would only show transaction up to yesterday. I would have to ring the fraud line. Which I had already tried but it kept cutting off. I then asked her if she could look at my account on screen and also stop my card to which her reply was 'No due to covid we cannot you will have to call the fraud line'. I told her the option was only lost or stolen which my card wasn't, she then said that is the option you need. Clearly my mature brain thinks it's not obvious. Basically so unhelpful. Surely when a customer is clearly stressed like this then she should at least have asked a colleague to check on the screen. I have since called the lost and stolen line, they transferred me and the lady I spoke to was lovely. So helpful and sorted everything. But as for the branch ...... I believe the fraud department are contacting the branch regarding this matter.

Not very helpfull staff can be quite rude. at times if cannot work with public seek another.job but that's my opinion

Hand sanitizer as you go in, no more than 10 people inside, so queuing on the street to get in, safe distance at all times, staff are helpful and friendly in these stressful times
