Food was bland no taste not worth the money you pay

I live local and regularly come for breakfast. I really enjoy the food and the manager is very friendly. I took his recommendation of adding peanut butter to the already very lovely porridge and it was indeed further enhanced. Top notch to all staff

Christmas dinner £250 and we were not allowed to drink our none alcoholic juice. Easy money grab. But drank it anyway after paying so much...Sat down had to get dirty cutlery changed. And 3 of the 6 dirty wine glasses changed due to lipstick. Told when we sat how long we had to eat so felt rushed from the start. Overall this place needs new management, as a former manager of food houses management here should be ashamed. Waiting Staff and catering staff were friendly and apologetic for the mistakes that the manager did not deal with. Worst part of our family Christmas day by far was thinking this was the place for our Christmas dinner.

Wasn?t a fan of this large Brewers Fayre located just off the M6 Toll.
Popped in on a Sunday afternoon for a quick pint and maybe some food. Unfortunately it was a carvery. You know carvery, like something out of Dickens as the people line up with their plates? please sir, please give me more meat, they cry. Sad.
Opted for a quick pint, it was Coors. The pint was fine, the atmosphere dour. The air thick with the smell of cheap gravy. At one point a huge plate of mashed potatoes was paraded, as if a God, through the massed throng.
There was a gaming machine. Played Eye of Horus (Megaways with pots). I did not win, but there was a vulture circling nearby to pick off the winnings. He won £80. My money.
Oh. And there were two women changing a baby on the pool table. Who does that!

An absolute brilliant experience, the staff were very accommodating to our sons needs and interesting food requests for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning. Thank you to the two female staff members who sorted food for him and to the kitchen staff who cooked it.
You made our experience much easier and allowed us a peaceful morning to eat our breakfast which was delicious
