I've just moved from another bank to Barclays. I asked asked several times if they were closing down, and the reply from the staff was I don't think so, but we are always the last to know .. what do I think about this bank. "I AM NOT A HAPPY CHAPPY " do I return to the old bank or ride it out to see how it goes ?

How are people supposed to sort banking issues out. If the branch closes at 3pm every day. Not all of us have or want online banking. Its ridiculous should be open to 4pm at least.

Super friendly staff! I had problems about my online bank due to changing a new phone. Melissa helped me solved the Barclays Mobile App issue with very efficient and professional skills. She also provided me some useful advice for opening saving account. Katie tried to help me set up the e-wallet on my new phone patiently, though we didn?t make it due to phone?s issue. I appreciate both ladies? kindness and help. All staff in this branch were greeting customer in reception, which makes people feel warm while waiting. :)

Went in to pay in a cheque. Has to use machines as all paying-in windows closed. Don't think you can beat the personal touch!

Went to the bank to make an international payment - bank was late opening and the cashier but the wrong swift code in resulting in a cancelled payment - luckily the money came back into the account otherwise would have been £5,000 down. Absolutely Ridiculous

Had an absolute nightmare with my help to buy ISA when buying my first house. More than one branch as well, not just this one. If you are thinking of opening an account try elsewhere because the organisation here is awful.
