Went for lunch. Disappointing food, bland, too much tenderising going on with the meat-the pork didn?t taste like pork and was very mushy. Poor egg fried rice, stodgy, could have made better myself. Noodles were ok. 13 year old didn?t eat much (didn?t like) but expected to pay adult price if above 1.4m I think it is. Think there should be an in between price for children. A fair few ?cheap? options provided despite paying 16.99 a head?.aromatic pork instead of duck which was extremely dry, shell on king prawns in sauce that were so messy to attempt to eat (I assume they knew this to put people off choosing them so they didn?t have to replace very often!). I was really looking forward to it but certainly wont be rushing back. Don?t know whether this is linked to the wing wah that used to be in Nechells but that one was amazing!! Seems like the brand has got greedy and sacrificed quality and flavour in order to make a higher profit.

Anyone going today beware. No heating in the restaurant food cold and greasy as a result. We arrived at 12.10 and left just before 1pm as we couldn't eat the food. No refund offered and they said there was nothing they could do about the cold food. Ruined my Husbands 50th birthday.

Won't be going back, most food was cold under flavoured and meat was very chewy things didn't taste of what they was ment to either, good quality is very poor waste of £20.99 I'd rather go cosmos in derby more selection better tasting foods and better quality. If I was you give this place a miss!

We have been many times before but not for a while. We proceeded to our table ordered drinks and went straight to the buffet. On exiting/paying I was taken back by how much it is these days. It was me and to teens all had 1 drink each and the buffet which cost £82?.. I?m sorry but I won?t be back any time soon.

This is a very good Chinese buffet.
We had some very good food, and it is all-you-can-eat, so there's plenty of it. There is also a very wide range of starters, main courses and dessert. The price is very reasonable, too.
The restaurant has a good atmosphere, despite being very large, and is well designed and decorated.
The staff are friendly and attentive.
My only negative is that some of the food was not as warm as it probably should be.

So we booked to come here tonight to celebrate my Nan?s 80th birthday. As a table of 8, we drove 45mins each way to be there. My sister is gluten free and had emailed weeks before to see if they catered for this and was impressed that they had a separate menu and easy way of ordering. This was great, because she already feels awkward and sometimes embarrassed about having to make sure she can eat and not have her food cross contaminated. The menu said she could choose two mains and two sides to come directly from the kitchen but it wasn?t communicated at first that she could replenish this once she?d finished. She ordered the beef in black bean and it very quickly left her feeling off (it looked like it was still walking and was really chewy). She had already ordered her next plate but couldn?t face it when it came out. Conscious about waste, she asked one member of management if she could take it home (as it had been brought out especially and not like she?d filled the plate from the buffet). She was advised that their policy was not to take food away- she understood this but advised there would be waste. She was told this was fine and the manager understood. When she came to pay, a different member of management made a deal out of the uneaten food and said next time they would charge- and wouldn?t listen to my sister explaining she had already spoken to someone. This lady (bobbed dark hair) was very rude and upset my sister making her cry. It also ruined the celebration we were there for. I challenged the member of staff for poor customer service and upsetting someone and she had the cheek to tell me she ?had been kind by not charging?.
I also noticed staff whispering about our table behind their hands and staring over in our direction whilst we were eating, with one member of management standing behind the things for sale cabinet. Very unprofessional.
The atmosphere was lovely and there was plenty of room between tables so you didn?t feel squashed. There was a wide selection of food which was great to see. Some nice enough, some chewy and a lot cold. Not worth the price you pay.
But ultimately it?s the customer service that lets this place down. And in this case, the member of management at the end ruined the entire visit. We spent nearly £250 with you tonight. The cost of the food left would have been a drop in the ocean. And if we had been asked to pay a small fee politely, we would have done it.
There won?t be a next time, you don?t shame customers!!

My friend who lives locally told me this was a "must visit" place.
She was absolutely right!!
From the incredible variety of choices, to the gorgeous flavours, this was a wonderful experience.
If you're ever in Burton, book a table and thank me later
