just had my first experience of this store & brand & I'm impressed.Staff were warm, friendly & most helpful. Thet were prompt on my appointment time ....this is very important to me as I suffer from chronic pain, I can't sit comfortably or even stand for very long at all without pain kicking in, so I need prompt, efficient service & i don't like to faff about??..... I was through tge tesg & picking frames in no time & before I knew it I was on my way out the door all done & dusted in around 20mins......fantastic ? I've found my new Opticians that's for sure.....100% recommend ???

I won?t be going back to this vision express branch for any eye tests etc. I went in for a contact lense eye test and the whole appointment felt rushed. The optometrist I saw needed me to take my contact lenses out but she claimed she didn?t have a lense case for me to put them in so she told me to put them on a tissue. By the time we were done my lenses dried out and I had to chuck them and waste a new pair. I was not told when making the appointment to bring my lense case with and I didn?t think this was needed considering it was an eye test using my current lenses. By the end of the appointment I asked the optometrist if she could take a look at my glasses, before she knew what it involved, she quickly told me that she had no time even though I booked and paid £35 for that appointment. Another staff member assisted with my glasses in the end but it is not the point. I received unsatisfactory customer service overall and I think they trying to get as many customers in and out and not leaving enough time between bookings.

I visited here today 28th February 2024 and have been a customer over many years. Sam at Vision Express Burton on Trent, greets me and my husband, with a lovely warm welcome, every time we visit, even when she?s occupied with other clients. Over the years my eyes have deteriorated quite a lot and they have sorted many problems to my satisfaction. Sam always, puts you at ease, she is so friendly. The staff seem happy too, not just to customers but between themselves as well, which shows they work in a good environment. I recommend this opticians to everyone without hesitation. Two weeks ago I went to Vision Express for an eye test and new glasses. Had an amazing experience as always! Everybody I?ve encountered was very polite and helpful. Vision Express Burton has never disappointed me so far! Great team of lovely people. I am their client since 2019 and they are the only ones who can actually make my lenses as thin as possible due to different factors. Other places have even refused me before! Nothing is impossible for Vision Express! Love them!

I was seen by Mark yesterday for floaters in my eye he was so thorough explaining everything and made a appointment by the hospital for second apinion he wanted to be 100% sure that everything was OK. He put drops in my eye to help him diagnose the problem I went for a walk around till drops took affect all done in 1 visit my wife and myself are fairly new here but service is second to none also the best spectacles I have ever had. Highly recommend

Attended Vision Express, Burton for an eye examination having noticed a shower of new floaters following recent cataract surgery. I have a history of previous retinal problems. Service and also after care from Mark in securing an urgent referral to the Eye Department at Royal Derby Hospital was absolutely superb.

Lack of professionalism in staff. Staff member didn?t new how offer works (buy 1 get 2 half price). When received my glasses, staff members didn?t know how to do correct fitting/adjustment.Returned glasses back next day due bad fitment and wrong lenses. Refund process was nice and fast.I would not recommend this optician.

My wife and i had used Specsavers for years but decided to give Vision Express a try for our recent eye checks and specs purchase. We both found the visit extremely satisfying in terms of service and the advice given. And as the shop is quite small the attention paid to us both felt a lot more personal and genuinely amiable. (Specsavers are ok but during our last few visits we always felt rushed and the whole process could feel a little like a hospital appointment.)This is why we tried somewhere else and we were very glad we chose Vision Express. We both came away feeling that we had been well looked after.

I am in a wheelchair I found them very helpful when I was due to go in for my eye test the staff are all helpful you all have smile on your family one best place to have a eye test would not go anywhere else ???
