Went to fill up, was stood less than a minute and the fuel flew up to over £50! The pump was far too fast and I didn't need that much fuel. Complained that it was too quick and something must be wrong with the pump as this is not normal at all, I was just told to pay (which I did) and nothing else was done. This totally took me by surprise as in all my years filling up never had a pump FILL my tank in less than a minute! Not ideal for when living on a tight budget either.

Hi My son went yesterday subway the lady who is the manager her name is mesee some thing like that she was rude to my 12 year old son, shouted at him for no reason next day he didn't want to go back in because he was scared,everyone else is also complaining , the shell owner is only apologising he should be changing the staff and having staff with manners instead.

Very rude staff been there few times in the night the worker usually ingores you and doesn't open the door or when he does it's like he's in a rush not coming back to this place staff rude if you not happy with your job don't do it simple

Rude staff. Also lying to me about items I'm buying. If there are other nearby shops open, I recommend using them.

rude till keeper ?priya? i was buying a sandwich and she automatically assumed i?m muslim simply because i?m brown stating ?this sandwich isn?t halal you know? very rude and assuming. will never come here again, shame because it?s right around the corner from where i work.

Came for a subway? All was going well until one of the staff misheard me when it came to the sauces so we corrected her and as she was told that we didn?t ask for this she had such an attitude and slammed the food in the bin and was rude. Avoid at all costs. Service was shocking but other than that the food was nice once they got it right!!!

Fuel prices are really high and we all know they are but the correct price for diesel is 149.9 however, Shell in Burton, all three are owned and managed by the same person and are making an awful impact on common folk.Shell have begun charging 160 and 160.9 (28.02.22) for diesel whilst Tesco, Morrisons and Apple Green have around 151.9. we don't mind a penny extra and everyone has to make money but 10p extra is taking advantage and being unethical to say the least.I know some people won't put in anything other than Shell or BP in the car. I am one of those people too. however, we need to start boycotting them so they realise not to con people!

Very expensive, the 3 shell stations in Burton have no main competition so hike up prices, go 5 miles away & its a lot cheaper. I have been going elsewhere for the past month. Applegreen is slightly cheaper

One member of staff raj never said 1 word to me ..no hello or thank you ...nothing how rude couldn't believe it so next day went back same time same member of staff still nothing so hence this review !!
