Beautiful room spotlessly clean. Hot shower. Nothing to say negative. Keep up the great work.
Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Blackout curtains and plenty of tea bags. All good here.
Nearby activities: Opposite supermarket so easy to get anything forgotten.
Safety: Each door needed a pass key so no random person is going to get very far.
Food and drinks: Set beside a restaurant bar. Generic menu that won't surprise you. I ate garlic bread and linguine which gave me trots. Breakfast next morning was nothing like the website pictures.
Noteworthy details: Rooms fabulous. Restaurant not so.

We've stayed here for the past 7 years to watch The Festival Of Fireworks but unfortunately this time it wasn't as good, our toilet seat was heavly stained & needed replacing long ago. Ww precooked breakfasts for all 9 of us, the day before arrival had an email saying no food available as restaurant had been shut down due to health & safety & we would be refunded our money on arrival, this was NOT the case at all. We were told that refunds were made within 5-10 working days. Was still waiting 2 weeks later, had to call head office to get a refund but the website is still letting book meals advance. Unfortunately I will not be staying here again.

Just a warning there are approx 20 steps up to reception and no access ramp otherwise.
It's nestled around the back of a main road but exceptionally quiet, the rooms are the usual well equipped standard of premier inn. Reception very helpful and friendly ? loads of free parking that we'll lit, loads of work vans parked around the back which is always a half decent sign of it being secure. Rooms have AC which is always good.

I think we arrived at the wrong time, the restaurant (and subsequently breakfast) was closed. The problem was the way this was handled, the decision was made late with it being open occasionally. With poor signage, for example restaurant ads in the lift, no sign on the restaurant door. In fact the door said it would be open. This became very inconvenient, the Morrisons was a good substitute but very slow.

We have stayed here a few times and normally no problems. The location is fine depending on where you want to be. It's near to the family we visit so all good. Rooms well you get good ones and bad ones. If your stuck next to the lift it can get a bit noisy if people are up and down it through the night. The biggest issue we had with the last stay was the the lad who dealt with us and sorry I can't remember his name and the lack of interest for the fact that he had just informed us as we arrived that the pub next was closed for renovations and did we get the e mail..... Now the person standing next to us must not have got the email if there ever was one in the first place. Now bearing in mind it's located in an industrial estate area where you have to travel to get food drink and breakfast and having not been told about this prior to travelling where we could have made alternate arrangements and it wasn't like it had just closed it had been closed for a while but his attitude was is that ok?. That's it. No apology then gave the key to the lad next to him to code in and even his colleague said only one key and he snapped back yes... No explanation just a very poor attitude in general. I have my doubt we will want to stay there again and I'm assuming that due to the fact we didn't get the normal email asking us how our stay was they knew it would be a poor review.

Very disappointed that after a really long day and drive. I arrived to find the restaurant was closed due to health and safety. I was told there was a pub 5 mins walk away. It was but I had to cross a dual carriageway and then only to find it was fully booked. If I had received notice re restaurant I would have eaten enroute as it was I had to opt for McDonald's

Perfect stop off spot for a long drive from the North. There's a Morrisons across the road for snacks and fuel, and if you want to attend Bloodstock Openair festival, but like me are too old for sleeping in a tent, this is the place.
My room was a bit on the small size, but I was visiting solo this time, which may be why.
Air-conditioning was an absolute godsend, TV was a Samsung of good size, but no decent tea in the room. Small amounts of mildew in the shower and no rainfall shower head, but I got by with the handheld even if the pressure was a little low.
Didn't visit the Beefeater attached, so can't comment on the food available.

No restaurant! No breakfast or dinner despite us having paid for them. No communication to say it wasn't open, and no alternatives offered. Nearest restaurant also closed.
Room was smaller than usual with only a double bed, and road was noisy.

Rooms are always clean at this Premier Inn. Some rooms are newer than others, hopefully they can update the remaining rooms soon.
Food and drinks: McDonald's just a couple of minutes away.

Excellent service, spotlessly clean room.
Nearby activities: There is a gastro pub next door, but unfortunately it was closed by 20:30 on the evening of our visit.

They don't clean the rooms but if you ask for anything they give it to you. Put your bin&towels outside your room and they will be changed

Location is great but the hotel needs attention. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here, both times the heating in the rooms has not worked. Windows cannot be opened and the room last night smelled of smoke. The restaurant was closed. £120 for a basic mid-week room is extortionate. Extraction fan didn't work, the shower was not very powerful and Premier Inn seriously needs to upgrade the hairdryers. Took me over half an hour to dry my hair. Staff are lovely but the hotel is disappointing compared to other brands in the same price range, all of which have had refurbishments. Oh, and the car park is used by all learner drivers as parking practice......car after car arrive and practice parking next to your car. Not what I'd really want when I'm paying a premium to stay here.
