“I needed to book my son's booster jab. He has additional needs and autism he gets freaked out and struggles in settings he's not familiar with. We had already attempted a booster elsewhere unsuccessfully. I managed to book in in with the Horninglow site and had an email the day before from Ben Eaton who carries out the vaccines. I let him know Connor's difficulties and he replied back totally empathetic and reassuring putting me at ease. When we arrived for the vaccine Ben and the team were amazing, reassuring Connor talking to him directly and keeping him calm. After distraction from a lovely lady in the team, Connor let Ben administer the vaccine. He had 2 stickers in reward for being brave. If anyone else was feeling nervous or if you have a child with additional needs who struggles, I would thoroughly recommend the vaccine here with Ben. A huge thanks, little things really do matter and his gestures made a difference.”
