SG Dental are amazing, all of the staff are absolutely lovely, everyone is friendly. It was the first time in years that I had been to a dentist, Sanket took great care of me and within less than a month I have had all the required work done, including a hygienist appointment. I absolutely cannot fault them, the prices are very reasonable and considering the level of care, I would go as far as to say it's a bargain. They don't force unnecessary work and do everything they can to keep your own teeth. I have already recommended them to family, so yes I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is unsure, you won't regret it. I can smile with my teeth on show for the first time in over a decade.

100% would recommend! Both me and my husband have now been there and we couldn't have been happier with the work! Such nice staff, i called the register and got seen and sorted the same day which i was very impressed with! I had no pain from start to finish and had work on my wisdom tooth so i was very impressed. Thank you SG Dental

Mike is an excellent dentist and looked after my teeth for nearly a decade. I left because he asked me to. For three years I had suffered with pain from a bridge that was too big, too hard and was fitted by Peter. Credit where credit was due Peter did grind a bit more off every time I saw him. It was finally fixed by Mike after, I presume, the staff had heard me telling another patient my problems while I was waiting. Mike fixed it but his attitude towards me changed and I found visits to the dentist unpleasant because of Mikes attitude. He must have felt the same because he told me that we weren?t getting on and I should find another dentist. I have but I do miss Mikes dentistry excellence.

Utterly disgraceful service.Despite being long standing patients my wife and I who have known Peter Reece for over 15years found out yesterday that we have both been removed from their records.We only found this out when my wife's filling fell out which Peter did just 2 years ago, it was causing her significant pain so I called to make an appointment for an extraction and was told we could not make an appointment for an emergency extraction as we would have to register as new patients which we could not do for 12 weeks !!!!We had no notification from the practice that this is what they had done.The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, I ended calling 4 other private dentists who all refused to help at short notice before finally calling the NHS Burton Access Centre in Cross Street, they saw her the next day, the service was utterly faultless, totally professional and only cost £22.70 !!!!!!Privately an extraction would have cost about £200.We are disgusted at the treatment by out private dentist and can honestly say I would never go back and would happily recommend using the NHS instead.In this time of austerity I am speechless that a business would treat paying customer's so appallingly.Shame on you.

Excellent. I had a bit of a fear of going back to the dentist, having not been for 4 years. Peter was very reassuring and when he said "things aren't anywhere near as bad as you think they are", I relaxed. Would highly recommend Peter for making you feel at ease.

My wife and I have been with Mike's dental practice for several years now and have had nothing but exceptional service, advice and treatment from Mike and his team.
It is great to see a team so willing to embrace new technologies, thinking and procedures to benefit the practice and its patients. Most importantly, they have retained throughout that personal touch. Whether it be for routine dental procedures or dental implants I would thoroughly recommend Mike.
I appreciate this may all seem a little too good to be true, so let me reassure you ... I am not related to Mike or any member of his team in any way. In fact, I'm a straight talking Yorkshireman with a bit of a reputation for calling things as I see them!
Honestly, I'm not sure going to the dentist can actually get much better than this!

I have been with Mike through three different addresses and have surrendered my over worked, oral cavity to his tender mercies for his whole stay in our Borough. He had a hard act to follow but his whole style, professional standards and, above all, care and knowledge would have made his predecessor, Jimmy Hunter, very proud.
I am totally averse to dental pain after childhood experiences in Leicester and this practice has no room for butchery! The entire staff are there for your health and benefit and fully support Mike in his excellent service. They are cheerful, greet you warmly and the vibe in the practice is positive and about a team together.
The practice is modern, airy and light and dispels the usual Dentist's Waiting room syndrome. Additionally I am fully aware that as a practitioner Mike is constantly updating his professional knowledge and is at the cutting edge of modern dentistry.
Put it this way: if I ever move from Burton, I will still come back to use his services.

Quite simply the best dental surgery I have ever experienced. A superb, spotlessly clean, modern practice always keeping pace with the latest in dental equipment and techniques.
The wonderful friendly staff are very important and they make you feel very welcome giving you a sense of relaxed confidence.
Mike is great and always explains everything thoroughly during every visit. One thing I like is that you never feel rushed and can always ask any questions or discuss the details of any procedures beforehand.
Another important part of the practice is the hygienist team, who always give you a comprehensive clean up to a standard I have never experienced before, making your mouth feel fantastic. They will explain simple techniques to achieve a high standard of dental hygiene, which have certainly improved the health of my mouth during the four years I have attended.
Therefore, I can thoroughly recommend Mike Allen's Dental Practice as I feel they will give you a service second to none.

I have been visiting Mike as a private patient for some years now and always find his practice professional and cost effective. Mike and his staff explain the procedures before they carry them out and always have time to listen and suggest the best options to meet my budget.
My wife and myself have had bad experiences at other dentists, but finding Mike's practice was a breath of fresh air!
I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an excellent dentist in the Burton area. You will not be disappointed.
