Went in today and there was no staff at all i was trying to find someone to ask for help. the poor girl on the till was on her own and so stressed. massive que she was asking for help and no one was coming. do not recommend coming to this store.

Misleading customers with undersized cushions. This has been brought up in many channels quite a few times with Dunelm (in store as well as their HQ), but apart from excessively wasting your time and fuel, they continue like nothing happened and put the badly made cushions back to the shelf to further rip off customers..! And on FULL price?
I have tried to negotiate a deal with only 10% off, which should had been fair considering the amount needed to be purchased, but shockingly, Maggie with some Polish accent (supposed to be some sort of team leader on duty) would Not have a clue about customer service and she felt that a £1.20 discount for the shortfall in their service and misleading approach would set Dunelm to bankruptcy?
PATHETIC and pitiful attitude with lack of intelligence! She should be better off in a Non-customer facing environment in their own warehouse.

Always a lovely store to visit - and on this occasion we also visited the in-store café and had a lovely lunch - good selection of food and drinks. This store is one of our regulars and will continue to be! Thank you!

A Deeply Disappointing Experience - Never Returning
Today, I visited this establishment hoping to make some purchases, but I encountered an incredibly distressing situation. The staff, particularly some elderly employees who were visibly exhausted, displayed an alarming level of hostility. It was evident they were taking out their fatigue-induced frustration on customers - which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
When I entered, I politely greeted an elderly female staff member, but she completely ignored my greeting. What followed was even more disturbing - she addressed me in an incredibly disrespectful manner. Throughout my visit, every staff member wore hostile expressions, and the level of service was far below basic standards. When I was leaving, they directed me to the exit with such contempt that their racist attitudes were unmistakable.
This backwards mentality doesn't reflect the values of 21st century England - it belongs in the dark days of World War II. Despite their poor treatment, I maintained my composure and didn't utter a single word out of respect for the establishment. It's truly unfortunate that such unsuitable individuals are employed in this position.
I will never return to this establishment. A place that lacks both basic respect and competent staff doesn't deserve any customer's business. It's deeply saddening to see such unprofessionalism and prejudice still existing in a modern service environment.????????????????
