Good Quality - Nice they have added a few tables now at the back. Always fresh cakes and friendly staff, even if they are a bit slow. Sausage cobs, caramel donuts and elephants feet are the best!

Everyone at some time in their life deserves a caramel donut from Birds: there are many other fine options as well.

A bakery on the promenade where you can sit and eat. After the renovation, it was more planned to make it more convenient for customers. Large selection of cookies. I hope it's good. I buy tasty raisin rolls there ?

Very disappointed in the cafe. Four of us ordered all day breakfast ( 1pm) to be told five mins later that they had no sausage, did we want anything else to compensate. This has now happened 3 or 4 times, though never as early as this - thought we had arrived soon enough this time! Why don't they make sure they have enough supplies to last the day for an ALL DAY breakfast, they only run a small menu anyway. When the breakfasts arrived, each with one extra piece of bacon ( you only get one of each anyway) they were not impressive, 2 rashers of bacon, one fried egg, a grilled tomato, 3 small pieces of mushroom ( not 3 mushrooms!) and a small ramekin of baked beans, accompanied by a slice of toast. This for £4.85 each - not cheap. All tasty, but a poor offering for the price. Very sorry to say that we will not be visiting again and will find an alternative. Sadly, as we have been 'regulars' ( 3or 4 times a year, but each year). Not the fault of the staff, who were all very nice. Also, isn't it about time a card facility was available for payment? Not a particular problem for us, but not every family of four carries £30 odd pounds in cash.

There are not too many of these shops left now. They are known for their constant quality and you cannot beat Bird's fresh bread and rolls. The pasties are very tasty but can be a little expensive compared to their main rival. The staff are very friendly and the queues are not too bad apart from lunchtimes. The shelves are normally very well stocked.

Oh my God, what can i say, if you love cream cakes you will be in heaven in this shop. I absolutly love this shop for cakes, normally get a load at xmas and take them work for everyone.

Most people go here for cakes but I absolutley love the cheese and onion sandwiches they sell (at a very good price, too!) Lovely little place to pop into on your lunch or to have a break from shopping. The cakes are delicious and very reasonably priced, packaged nicely, too!

Brilliant for those of us with a sweet tooth, although they also do great savouries aswell. Its a must when you are in Burton town centre. The shop is quite small and they do sell out very quickly but i suppose when something tastes so good it will.
