Some staff are rude, not helpful, argumentative, especially, made me feel helpless. The management sided with staff. Don't want to hear the customers version of events.

Awful company, was told to go online as they didn?t have item in stock, bought online , item never came, now they tell me that they can?t give refund as the item they sold is through another seller, scammers all round, waited over a week now, heard nothing, never use again ??????

I will Never use again B&Q.
I have just been with my wife (she is 30 years old and I am 40) to buy DIY items: 2 external angled edge for wall corners and 1 silicone tube) and when we went to pay at self check till, I was holding the item as they were long and not enough space to put them on the till, so I asked my wife to scan the items while I was holding. The 2 guys working there said we cannot buy these items unless my wife shows the identity card, they also dont accept photo when she proceeded to show photo of driver license.
I wanted to pay the items and I had my ID with me but they wouldn't acccept because my wife took the scanner and scanned with it.
When I asked to speak with manager, he came and barely said a word when met us. He barely talked so I have asked him, I cannot buy these items? He mumbled that we cannot buy the items unless my wife shows the ID card.
We went to Wickes across the street and will Never use again B&Q.

We came to buy some emergency stain removers because I had stained my new hoodie with permanent marker. They did not let us buy the stain remover because my (26 year old!!) husband put the items on the till, even tho I had ID and was going to pay for the items. The only reason I didn't put the items down myself was because I am ill and didn't want to infect anyone. What a waste of time, and because of this we did not have any time to visit a different shop. Really disappointed and angry about this.

Disabled person needed help, and when an operative was asked for help to get a heavy appliance off the shelf, they were told flatbed trolleys were outside.!!! No help or assistance at all.

Shambles, new staff every week, staff who works in there and is experienced acts as if that was a big ask to even serve a customer. You can never find anyone on the floor to ask a question, everyone always seems lost and not knowledgeable, avoid.
