Great canal side pub, we only had drinks in the middle of winter. Our nervous dog (doesn't like other dogs) was accommodated by us using the back room which was empty. They have two other front rooms as well as an outside space which is too cold at the beginning of January so we were happy to be able to get inside with the nervous dog.

First time visiting and won't be the last, great atmosphere with fantastic helpful friendly staff, great outdoor garden with plenty of tables and seating. Very charming interior, relaxing. Friendly place with talkative locals, lovely landlord and excellent beer at great prices. Pedigree and Tribute yesterday. Good choice of bar snacks and if you?re hungry there?s a nice chip shop next door.Happy days!

Despite the website saying bar food and games room, we were told they don't do food and there was no pool table. When leaving one of the regulars commented asking if the games room was shut to everyone. Seems your face has to fit to receive service here.
