Pub looks nice and atmosphere was good and bar staff was great.
We got seated on the smallest table next to an open door and it was drafty we did try and close it but people was in and out so we would have been better putting a coat on and sitting out side it would be ok but there was plenty of other tables that we could have been seated. We had a carvery one member of staff quite rude to customers and it wasn't the best

I'm a regular here and usually love the Sunday dinner, but the last two times have been really disappointing. Everything else was nice, but the meat portion was a joke. I got just two of the thinnest slices of meat I've ever seen. It feels like they're cutting costs in the wrong place, and it's a real shame as it ruined an otherwise lovely meal

Been here for lunch food was great and very tasty. Service was really good nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

We visit here on a regular basis, more often than not 1/2 times a week and is generally a pleasant visit. Today was different, on average we normally wait 15/20 minutes for the meal which isn?t an issue but today the meal came within 5 minutes (mixed grill), I was surprised as this has never been the case but then waited for my wife to get her carvery so we could eat together. One look at the steak and there was a puddle of blood on the top and on the plate although the steak was ordered medium/well done. This wasn?t an issue as one of the staff quickly offered for the meal to be made fresh, when the fresh meal came it looked awful compared to the other but the steak was cooked (well done). The gammon was really fatty, the chicken was just like mush and watery. The chips had shrunk by half the size compared to the first meal. The egg was still snotty, at this point we decided we would leave and eat elsewhere.

Lovely experience as always. We were welcomed by a young lady on the door who was extremely friendly. Unfortunately we didn?t catch her name as we haven?t seen her before but she did have a white top with team leader on. She showed us to our table and couldn?t do enough for us. She was always smiling and stood out to us as she took the time to chat and made our experience wonderful. She is a real credit to the pub. We will be coming back again for carvery

Shame they don't have a place inside where they are OK with dogs. It's close to the M18, so a place where travellers can pop in too so no option if your dog has been with you. Outside just isn't great next to the car park and main road. Just make a few tables dog friendly and I'm sure it will be popular.
