Lovely Place. Lovley people. Lovely breakfast. Dog friendly.

A very nice atmospheric setting, near the church and almost like a French bistro.
The food we had was good and well priced but we had to wait more than 30 minutes for simple food. The staff appeared very miserable and a warm welcome was distinctly absent. A smile and some pleasant words would make all the difference.
Such a pity as this could be a thriving business that we would be happy to revisit.

Great service, lovely food, and a nice town. Great walks surrounding Wortley. Would definitely recommend for everyone!

Lovely staff, great service but prices are extortionate. £3.10 for a pot of tea. Unjustifiable. It's gone up 30p in a week

Nice little tea shop/cafe, popular mid-week at lunch time. We had cream tea, and were disappointed, they don?t serve clotted cream but whipped cream, and give half a strawberry per person?making it overpriced and disappointing. The carrot cake was nice (very thin slice served). The staff were very friendly.

Lovely little cafe serving decent cake and coffee.Parking: Parking is available on the street opposite the cafe. In peak season, it may get tight.

Visited for a coffee and a scone. Made to feel very welcome by polite friendly staff. Got talking to two other customers and before we knew it we had spent an hour. They do a rewards card which we shall be making good use of. The scone and coffee were of good quality just in case you ask.

Cosy cafe in picturesque surroundings. Busy. Cash preferred but payment card available. I had a piece of chocolate fudge cake. Very sweet and a coffee. Partner had a bacon and cheese sandwich of a large fluffy breadcake and tea. Tea not to his liking and cold despite hot water provided. Nonetheless a lovely little stop off.
