Says closes at 14:00. we got there at just after one to get some lunch but were told, very abrupt that they were closed. What cafe closes for lunch

Very nice small little tea room. Only one choice if main meal the day we visited but we were happy with a Toastie and chips. Very good value.

What a lovely quaint little place. The food is all homemade and delicious. Definitely recommend if you want something a bit different to the usual homogenised brands. I?ll be returning here soon.

Visited this lovely cafe for afternoon tea and couldn?t praise it enough. The food was presented beautifully and even better it tasted amazing! The sausage rolls were the best I have had in a long time.
Staff are lovely and take pride in what they serve.
Highly recommend.

Oldie worldie and pleasant surroundings indoors/outdoors and this adds to the character of the tea room.Very friendly attentive staff..well worth a visit.I go for free range eggs and I highly recommend them, the yolks are so rich in colour and flavour, locally sourced too ??....

A lovely little tearoom with outside seating. Garden has wildflowers and ducks. Food is fresh and homemade. Plenty of choice on breakfast and lunch menus. Cooked to order. Good choice of cakes for morning or afternoon coffees. A couple of car parking spaces, but also on street parking. Accessible as well.Well worth a visit.
