Im done with this store. While there are some absolute gems in the staff the majority of them are just rude. Ive worked in supermarkets and dont understand how some of them are still employed. The older gentleman is amazing everytime I am at his til. There is a woman with short dark hair called kaz I think? She's phenomenal! Promote her to store manage ASAP!. The Welsh bloke and the dude with the arm tattoos are all honestly some of the best staff I have seen in a supermarket. All of them respectful, helpful, polite! All the rest just expect you to jump out of the way at a moments notice if they're wheeling a stack down. You ask some of them a question and its like you've spoiled their day. I was taught to smile at customers and always help where I can. I know they're told to throw the items through the till but its like triple speed. Ive asked about this and been told its customer management or something when the store gets busy but ive been to other branches and they have been fine and not just launched it though. What a shame this ruins it for the staff that are actually doing their job right.

I love what this store has to offer, but we don't have one in Louth, the nearest is in Mablethorpe or Grimsby. Therefore, when I'm out and about, I'll always visit one and stock up on supplies. Today I wasn't far from Thorne and decided to call in. Firstly, there weren't any self-service tills and only one till was open. The queue was so long that two different people dumped their shopping on the adjacent till and walked out. Eventually, after requests by both myself and another customer, another till was opened.
I wish that they'd get their act together and serve their clientele in the manner that they deserve. The only reason I have given them the second star, is for the quality and variety of their products.

This is a very pleasant and clean shop. However since November 0f 2024 there has been no MANGO SORBERTS for sale i am very and I mean very sad because i love mango sorbets and I am protesting and not going to this shop until I hear back and mango sorbets will be in store (it's not just me protesting)
