We called for a late lunch. Three of us came. We all had different items on the menu I had the Philly brisket burger. The chips were the best part of the meal as it was a mix of sweet potato and normal fries however they were underneath the brisket so quite soggy, the cheese on the brisket was horrific and lumpy (never had it taste like that before). The wine was lovely. The Caesar salad was nice. And the salmon salad was nice just heavy on the lettuce side.
I usually love this place and would usually give it 5 stars but today?s meal has been not the greatest. Hopefully next time.

Called in for spot of lunch - French onion soup, small bowlful. Soup was basically stock cube with few onions, plastic cheese covered crouton, one slice of bread for £7.50. Poor value for money and not particularly good food . Last time will be calling

It's a lovely place and great that it's dog friendly, but the gluten free cakes were very dry and the cold drinks were especially pricey.

Today I visited with a group of friends, we pre booked a table and Holly made sure it was easily accessible for a pram and 5 people. This going above and beyond service is exactly what you need in hospitality.
I had an iced oat vanilla latte and an eggs Benedict and it was perfect, with short waiting time. The rest of the group all had different items and again not a single complaint or crumb left. The other girl who served us was polite and attentive throughout. Would recommend and will be coming back to try lunch next time and maybe a gelato!

We were on our way to walk some goats and stopped in here for brunch. I'd heard nothing, seen nothing, but the pics on Google and the menu had me intrigued, and I was very happy to have chosen to come here!
The staff were absolutely lovely, and brilliant with the kids. The prices were very reasonable. The seats were comfy and it felt very welcoming and cosy. Then when the food and drink arrived, everything was really tasty and well put together.
On the way out we spotted the cakes on offer, so before heading home after the goat walk, we stopped back in and picked up some cakes to come home with.
If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely be back again!
