Visited with my granddaughter and her two girls .food was delicious and good value . Asked if they had any thing for the girls to colour on . Member of staff owner ? apologised as they hadn't but he went to the supermarket next door and bought them a magazine which they could colour in with the crayons he gave them unexpected and really thoughtful

Asked specifically what time kitchen closed at 8pm. 20h30pm was the answer. When ordering 10min before last order (20h20) was told that the chef had decided to close the kitchen early. Absolutely ridiculous service/standards.

Only ever been here for drinks but decided to come in for some food as it was the only place open nearby (other than spoons). I got the Thai curry and waffle fries and wow it was so yummy ? would definitely recommend.
Vegetarian options: The Thai curry offered a Quorn alternative or you could just have vegetables

The steak was over peppered, but cooked satisfactorily. The service was a bit perfunctory. Several years ago I rated it 4?, it's now declined to a 3?. I hope the standard doesn't keep on sliding downhill.
